If you sit with a large group of people , they try to give you the tip on top and sneak it in, I know this is Dundas and you want to take the retire money from the old lady and the goats but this isn’t a way to treat people.
My little dog Rashnu took home the receipt from this pub and chewed it up and gave me the look to never “step foot in here again “ noise he always makes when he is upset with my choices of dining.
Anyways, hope to get the cookie cutter response copy and paste google type out so my Rashnu can chew that up after I print it out.

This place has been around since at least 2014 I actually don’t know ( first time attending ).right by McMaster , many weekends spent here. I do go back time to time when I’m the area. Definitely recommend!

The food was genuinely good which makes it sad to say that I will never be returning due to the disrespect and rudeness of our server/bartender. Athing put our group of 4 as a group of 8 and applied an automatic tip due to a “group fee”. I would have been happy to tip her however a fee that is not notified about prior to sitting is indeed illegal and very not fair to do to people that were not a large group. When we brought this to her attention she was very rude about it. We informed her of the fact that this was against the law and she says “well i’m telling you now”. you can not expect people to be prepared to pay a fee they we’re not intending of paying and then still tip on top of that leaving an additional tip. The staff also allowed a large group of people to sit touching our booth leaving us unable to leave to booth or the server be able to serve us also adding to the negative experience. Overall disgusted by their minimal consideration of paying customers.

Absolutely love this place, and the servers are fantastic. However, two of the TVs are currently missing their remotes, so that takes away from the bar. Would be nice if that could get fixed :)
