The Winchester Arms is a long‑standing favourite in Dundas, and fans of Heated Rivalry will recognize it right away. The pub was used as a filming location, and it’s fun to sit in a spot that played a role in the show.
We ordered the Chicken Curry on fries and the Beef Dip done Philly‑style. Both dishes were decent and hit the spot for a casual pub meal. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from an old local pub—dark wood, cozy corners, and a familiar, lived‑in feel. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit.
Prices are very reasonable, with most meals landing in the $15–20 range. The only downside is the seating. Some of the older benches, especially by the windows, have definitely lost their support and could use a refresh.
Overall, the Winchester Arms is a solid, relaxed place for a meal in Dundas, especially if you enjoy classic pub fare or want to visit a recognizable spot from the show.

I went to this restaurant a lot when I lived near Dundas. I've since moved away but decided to go again with a friend. For still great. But when my friend told our server her Greek salad was not too good her reply was she had served several that day without complaint. She never offered an apology, or to bring her something new. She was old enough to be an experienced server, but she obviously didn't believe her customer. Ill go back, but if she's my server I won't stay.

I wanted to comment on the exceptional service by Nate otherwise known as Natalie. I popped in to have dinner before a nearby gathering and the pub was completely full. The young hostess found me the very last seat as I did not have a reservation. Natalie was charming, attentive, and friendly. This was very noticeable to me as the entire place was full. She took the time out to make me feel welcome on such a busy night. Thanks so much.

I thought they would have a better beer selection. All they had on tap was off brand. The bar was dirty when I sat down and was not wiped while I was there. The staff spent her time at a table with a regular swearing the whole time.
