Great food and pub experience. My favorite bar in Dundas
Kid-friendliness: Daytime is fine, but in the evening it's more adult.

Tried their Novemburger, exactly how a British pub would put one together.
Service was slow.

Wish we had gone to the Thirsty Cactus like I wanted!
Disappointing service today from Judith.
My boyfriend and I stopped in for a bowl of chilli and a quick beer, Judith’s service had us feeling like we were an inconvenience for her..
I ordered a side of sour cream with my chilli and I did not receive it until I was almost finished my meal, we had to ask another server for salt and pepper.
We were not asked if we would like another beverage or how our meals were.
Disappointing because we really enjoy coming to this pub, but after today, we won’t be back…. For a while anyways.

Ordered the Beef Dip and it was undersized. They forgot my horseradish but the bar tender caught the error. Didn't love listening to the staff complain about their co-workers during the meal - kind of amateur and awkward. I like to coziness of the pub atmosphere but the need to invest in some updating. Fine line between classic pub and outdated tavern.

Three of us had dinner on a weeknight - 10/10. The perfect amount of busy - vibe that was neither too loud nor crowded, got a table immediately with no reso. Service was friendly and we haven’t stopped thinking about the food. Undercover best dish is chicken pot pie - highly recommend. Super fresh, seasoned and high quality home-cooked taste. Pastry outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely atmosphere, great service, live music every Saturday.
Pub food is good, really nice place to stop for a drink. Small town feeling which is rare.
We really love this place.

Very friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. Good range of drink options. (We didn’t have food)
We went into the pub and were greeted straight away by a member of staff and shown to a table and brought a menu and our drinks in a timely manner.
