I've been here many times at lunchtime on a workday and their food and service has always been great for me. I typically get the two-item plate with the noodles, broccoli, and General Tao Chicken and while the quality of each bite can vary a little bit, it is all within an acceptable range and at least as good, if not much better than most food court Chinese food. There seems to be a lot of disgruntled people in these reviews from a long time ago, so I don't know if things have changed for the better recently. Also, I don't know if the quality will go downhill later in the afternoon / evening as the food is kept warm for hours. My experience is limited to lunchtime on workdays, and I would definitely recommend it for people looking for lunch. I took away one star under atmosphere not for anything the restaurant did or didn't do but because it is Jackson square and it's tired.

They have the worst customer service as their food, it’s just money hoopers food store. They are not even able to communicate what they are selling. It’s just their trash serving.

First time eating and found a worm in my food. I ordered the broccoli, sesame chicken, and rice. My guess is the worm came from the broccoli. The food was tasty otherwise. A little too salty.

Wok Express is an absolute gem when you’re craving for something tasty . The portion sizes are generous, ensuring you get great value for your money. All of their food items are so delicious that I always have a hard time deciding what to eat.
Vegetarian options: For vegetarian they have lo mein noodles, bean sprout chow mein, egg rolls and stir fried broccoli .

DO NOT EAT HERE. They are extremely rude. The pork was absolutely gross. Their chicken and mushrooms is ONLY BASICALLY MUSHROOMS. I got the smallest amount of noodles. And I paid $16 to throw out my lunch.vYou can't sample because if you did you wouldn't order. If I could give negative stars I would. Save your money ....

Better variety at the grocery store freezer section and rude woman owner, not worth it.
I was passing through the mall from the library, and was happy to see a Chinese food vendor, from a far. I was greeted with a bright happy smile. The food looked great, and the large portions tasted fantastic. Their sweet and sour ribs are to die for. A real diamond in the rough. I will return next time I'm at the library.
