Don't judge a book by it's cover! As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed and acknowledged by any servers who see you. The restaurant is clean and layed out well for a small place. Prices are really reasonable, servings are equally reasonable, and the coffee is the best I've had at ANY restaurant! I highly recommend this place.

These guys ran a toy drive for us we are the Fallen Riders these guys have the best food I've ever had for breakfast as well as their big hearts and their choice atmosphere was a pleasure to be around thank you so much for the help in this toy drive

Been in Hamilton for about 10 years, tried mostly everywhere, but I love finding places like this.
I can’t believe I slept on it for so long.
10/10 breakfast was great got the meat lovers breakfast with two farmers sausages.

What a great way to ruin such a great experience. I went there as a child and so I brought mine, only to be over charged, then have the staff argue with me about it... just threw down whatever the bill said and left. I will forever never come back to such a terrible place. Went from the only place, to good luck.. if your looking for a great sit down family restaurant for breakfast, check out the bedrock, at least they have friendly staff

I came here on a whim as my home is being renovated and I’m without a kitchen. The staff was friendly and attentive, portion sizes were generous, prices were very fair, food came out quickly. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. This place is perfect for contractors looking to get a quality breakfast quickly that isn’t ultra processed like the fast food restaurants. I’ll definitely be back!

Tradicional old fashioned restaurant, with family ambience. Food is really good, the fries, sausages (both farmers and traditional), bacon were delicious. Coffee was really good as well, washroom in decent condition. They only do cash, but you have an operating ATM inside. Now it’s my favorite breakfast place. I’m not from the area, but I’ll drive 20 minutes just to get there again by all means.
Parking: It’s not a big parking lot, but seems to be space enough, maybe you’ll take some time to get an space during weekends mornings

On our way to Peach Festival, we preferred to head to Hamilton area earlier to avoid traffics- so we stopped by for breakfast at this place per google reviews - and I would say it was much more than expected- warm welcoming staff, the food was delivered fast and we found everything tasty - from coffee to Sausages and potatoes and sandwiches . The quantity was more than enough for one person and very good price. Strongly recommended!

Oh heck yes , the place is full all day most weekends so plan accordingly, great service , great prices, monte Cristo sandwich is a hidden gem. Breakfast is the go to.
Small kitchen and lots of people eat here so service times are not on par with Amazon breakfast delivery. But that’s the best part, you’re here with real people making real food and real history.
Cash only, atm fee is $2 , it’s worth it.

I've lived in this area for 30 years & finally stopped in for breakfast Saturday morning. Oh my goodness to my surprise the place was spotless & very welcoming. Love the food and the waitress was amazing. We will definitely be back. The pictures on the walls are a bonus. Keep up the good work to all that work there ?
