Wish I lived closer to this place. Excels at ready made meals. Grab a few and throw them in the freezer for when you don't feel like cooking. Great frozen lasagnas and pasta dishes. Variety of goods you tend to not find at your average grocery store. Very reasonable prices. Love this place, never gad a bad experience.
Homemade breads, best in a long time for the store. Foccacia was delicious.
First time visitor. Food was great. Value was good also. Very pleased
Food is good but prices are high
Zarky's is a great last-minute supper savior. The hot food bar is steaming with a variety of deliciousness. Thanks for saving me, Zarkey's. Don't get me started on the desserts. Mmmmmm
A great place with lots of goodies. Enjoyed a fabulous sandwich very fresh ingredients.
They carry a decent range of fresh and frozen foods for a small location nestled in a small neighborhood.
The frozen food saved my family during a recent 2 month reno.
Very convenient
My son and I got food poisoned from their frozen lasagna. He went back to complain and brought back the tray with 3/4 of the frozen lasagna left, he gave the cashier all the details about the food poisoning. The cashier told my son to communicate with Michael the manager regarding a voucher. The cashier did not communicate with the food manager regarding the food poisoning they did not give them the lot number or the batch number and the label connected to the lasagna,, they sold 60 of the same lasagna that poisoned us to other unsuspecting customers. We have been in communication with Sarah Griffin the food manager, she claimed that they take food poisoning very seriously but brushed both me and my son under the rug. Sara believes that her apology is compensation for my son losing 3 days of work and me almost in the hospital. She goes on to say no one else complained. Just because no one complained doesn't mean that they weren't food poisoning other than they didn't know it was the lasagna that poisoned them. For me and my son that night it was the only thing we ate and it was a small piece that we ate that almost took us both down. It was my son that center a copy of the bill because she didn't have it she didn't even know about the food poisoning, it was the cashiers responsibility to inform management about the food poisoning. Sarah didn't offer us nothing but her deep apologies ,and her continued statement that they take food poisoning very seriously. I am a senior and that small piece of lasagna almost killed me. Sarah could shove her apology up where the sun don't shine, and she's proven they don't take food poisoning seriously and they don't care about the customer. Thank God I didn't die but I do know my rights as a consumer, Sarah added insult to injury. We will be going above her head we may possibly go to the media and I will be reporting this to public health safety, I wonder if I could involve the Better Business Bureau as well because of their bad business practices. Zarsky's fine foods do not care about their customers, so do yourself a favor and go to a store where they care about the customer.
Wow reading their reviews left by former Zarkys employees is incredibly telling at how they do not care about the customer and they don't care if you get food poisoned.
The following review is from rogue sergeant, thank you rogue for posting this
I think anyone who shops here is stupid and misinformed. Ive worked for them. Linda is the "manager" here and she is absolutely one of the worst people I have ever had the displeasure of knowing. Tony buys all the product they sell from food auctions and the deli meats majority of the time are expired and demands employees take the stickers off so customers dont know. I wonder what other shady stuff goes on here.
1st of October 2024 how interesting that I get a reply from the owners , and all they did was cut and paste Sarah Griffin's email to me yesterday. What the owners need to do is go over the reviews and see how many people have complained about their food poisoning, , about how the food is mishandled at zarsky's, about how ex-employees literally out of them and warn the public about how filthy their food is, today I'm completely convinced that the lasagna that food poisoned me and my son was thawed out and then Frozen again and the expiry date was changed , just like the other lady that said her lasagna was from 2021 when she removed the sticker. Zarsky's needs to be investigated and I will make sure of that! So the owners can take the cut and paste email that Sarah Griffin sent us and put it up where the sun don't shine. They should be ashamed of calling themselves Italian, because Italians could cook and their food is safe to eat unlike zarsky fine foods. If you value your health and you respect your money do not shop there because you will be food poisoned eventually.
I purchased a package of turkey meat slices for 4.99$ and got food poisoning so bad I had diarrhea for 2 days

Amazing staff
Just sad. I used to love coming here ans getting subs. I just got an assorted for almost 12$ that had almost no meat on it. The ham.was cut so thin that it was basically frayed. She turned one thin piece n cut it in half. All bun and couldn't even taste the meat. I try and support local hut it's just getting worse and worse. No quality.
these guy are very slow to update their website with their flyer its been 3 days so far and no update and i am not driving out there to see what they have on sale. they are almost as bad as that butcher shop that went out of business on Rymal rd
Ordered a sandwich platter for a birthday party and they were delicious!
