“Came in this afternoon with my mother to celebrate her birthday and had an incredible experience. I can not remember for the life of me what the young girls name was that served us but she had glasses and dark hair, she was absolutely incredible. She told us it was her second week but she did so well and was so kind and efficient when dealing with a minor issue we had. Definitely would come back just for the staff, the kind lady at the register when we payed was also so sweet“

“Service was fantastic!Being in the Hospitality industry, I know serving Breakfast is the toughest meal to serve. Our waitress Shannon was great! She did everything very very well! We had a nice conversation about Hollandaise Sauce.It was our first time and we will be back.“

“Always clean, friendly, welcoming staff! Great food, portion sizes, and prices. It has been our favourite breakfast place for the last several years. They also have an amazing variety of coffee. We have never had a complaint with staff, food or cleanliness. 5 STARS all around!The only downside I would say is the bathroom is in the basement, down steep stairs, and a bit dark and cold down there. Not wheelchair compatible to use. I would still give them 5 STARS, though!Kid-friendliness: There is lot's of artwork on the walls to look at. It tends to be a louder atmosphere if the kids get a little too noisy. Pleasant and friendly staff to make kids feel welcomed too.“

“Unfortunately never got to sit in and eat any of their food despite repeat attempts. It seems to be the only place in Hamilton that does not understand the basic concept of holding tables/reservations/taking a name down to ring them back.I was told that if I need a table either I wait 20 mins right there, or go away for 10 mins and come back and then go away again if there’s no table. But nobody could guarantee me that since I came first could come back in 20 for said table and probably do something productive in the meantime. Get with the times folks.Yes this is a 5 star review because I can’t rate the food without eating it and I’m not an a$$h0le.“

“Food: We ordered the 3 Eggs Breakfast (one of the classics) and Chicken Bacon club sandwich with bacon on the side.Drinks: Coffee and Refreshing Mango juiceFood was delicious and service was great. Music volume was just the right level to have a conversation without having to shout. Washrooms were clean too.Parking: The cafe is located in a plaza, so plenty of free parking available in the plaza.“

“First time eating here and a great experience. They were very busy but still kept up with our orders. Nice family run feeling here. One of the best eggs benny I have had in a long time. The owner came out to check on us and tables around us twice while we ate which is always nice.“

“A large group (35-40) of us gathered at Rankins for a high school reunion this past Wednesday evening and we had the most incredible waitress named Kirsten. She (one person) looked after all of us. She provided truly exceptional service and I commend her!“

“I can’t say enough good things about this Sunset. They make you feel right at home the minute you come to the door. I went with my husband and 4 kids (two of those kids are 7weeks old) and they were so accommodating with where we sat so the babies could be in the shade. My kids were a crazy and made a mess of a table and they cleaned it up no problem with smiles. The portions sizes are great for adult and kids! The staff are SO friendly and a pleasure to be served by! We will 100% be back and give them 5/5!“

“Just started coming here at Christmas, a great way to start the day having a great breakfast. I just love the many options available and the prices are simply amazing. 3 adults breakfast, coffee and all in $66. Just had to keep going back. Hot food and Always a doggie bag. Staff are attentive and sure friendly.“

Nrup and Kaushal did a fantastic job and even helped drive them all to the school! 695 pancakes! All delicious!All the staff in the restaurant were very friendly as well.
