“I ordered the Veg. Dum Biriyani, Paneer Tikka Masala and Tandoori roti - everything was delicious. The curry portions are very impressive and price is reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants in the area! My order was ready in about 20 minutes and was the perfect temperature to dive right in. The gravy was thick and perfectly seasoned. Takeout option is much better compared to dine in, because they are still working on creating ambience inside restaurant. I think everyone should give Daawat a try for themselves!

We requested to the guy who was from Isanpur, Gujarat, Ahmedabad, India
He was very accommodating and allowed us to have dinner without being rush.

“This place was recommended to us by a friend and although it was about 9:00 pm. we were welcomed by the friendly staff, not knowing that the closing time was 9:30 pm. We ordered our food and were not rushed to finish eating and finally left the place around 10:00 pm.
Every item we ordered was delicious, not oily and spiced to suit our taste.
Our dinner consisted of: Chefs Special Biryani which came with a raita, chicken Vindaloo, plain naans, kheema naan, masala chai and a beer.
We felt that it was a bit pricey and the portions could have been a bit more generous.
To offset this, all entrees should come with either plain white rice or plain naans.
We will be back to try some of the other items on their extensive menu. The Hakka items look very inviting from the pictures in the menu.
We will definitely recommend The Moghul’s to our friends. Hopefully someday they may open up a Moghul’s restaurant in St. Catharines, where there is a dearth of good Indian restaurants!

It’s just of to the side of an Asian grocer, so not much for ambiance, but the staff were super friendly and obviously took pride in the food they were making.“

“My daughter and I order the same meal every time...samosas and pakora to start, eggplant bhaji, veggie korma, sag aloo, and rice, with ras malai for dessert, and mango lassi to wash it all down. “Brought my wife here with me for a fantastic meal. The gentleman with the great beard gave us some good options. Asked us if we need anything throughout our meal. Was amazing. We got the chat papri (very clean, great balance of sweet tangy and crunchy..the papri is amazing). The sheekh kebabs...super delicious as well, were covered in a tangy sauce and came with 2 chutneys. Garlic naans and butter naan were spectacular as well, to go with our goat curry. The goat curry brought back memories of goat meat parties we would throw. Was super delicious, had a kick. Really really well done. I asked for asked chutney, green chilies and onions, and the gentleman brought them without asking. At most restaurants I would of had expected a bill of 100 dollars. But it was half that! Was pleasantly surprised, first time there and it will not be our last. Keep up the amazing job.
