Absolutely terrible service- large group arrived at 5:30 (we called and reserved). Didn’t even get our appetizers till 6:40. Main meal didn’t come till 7:15pm. Waiter didn’t bother to check on our table at all to see if we needed anything during our meals. Food was okay, some items were messed up but as to be expected with a large group of people. Highly wouldn’t recommend coming with a large group of people- small groups were served and done before we had gotten meals.

McGillicafey's Pub and Eatery offers good food, including the popular Dockside Tea, fish and chips, and the beef rib special, in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. While prices may be steep, the attentive service, cool decor, and very nice atmosphere make up for it. The staff is wonderful, and the beer selection is good. Karaoke on Thursdays with lots of songs adds to the fun. The summer time patio by the river is perfect. Parking is available in a public lot a block away or at the post office. Wheelchair accessibility is easy to get in but hard to get around inside. Clean and great service make this a favourite place to stop whenever in town.
