Havelock was the closest town to our cottage rental, and thank goodness for Woody Burger & Pizzeria! After a full week of BBQ food, it was such a welcome change. We tried a mix of things: chicken fingers, subs, poppers, and of course, lots of ice cream. Everything was solid and satisfying. We also stopped in for breakfast, which was just as decent and hit the spot before heading to our next cottage stop.
Nothing fancy, but exactly what you want from a small-town burger joint: good food, quick service, and a friendly vibe. We’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in Havelock again.

The pizza from Woody Burger has gone down hill drastically in the last 6 months. We used to order here every few weeks but the quality, quantity and price has degraded so significantly that we won't be returning.

The burgers were great on Tuesdays, however I find the pizza to be garbage I wouldn't wish upon my enemies. I've had the unfortunate displeasure of trying it on multiple occasions and each time shows that it wasn't a one time issue, it's a lack of quality issue
we've dealt with everything from general incompetence, employees not being able to answer basic questions, to a lack on information online when it came to a menu and even staff over charging (in which we returned with our receipts and got a refund on the difference)
there are very few restaurant choices in town, and this is one that is never brought up again.

I used to really enjoy Woody Burger, but last week with only 2 other tables in the restaurant, our food (2 meals) took 40 minutes. One was made incorrectly, one was served cold.
The portions are obviously smaller than they were, just a really disappointing visit.
Also I don't think that 2 kitchen staff took time to use the washroom while we were waiting for our food. In my years in the restaurant industry it common practice to complete the order and then use the facilities:(

Leaving a 2 star review because the burgers are good and consistent but we ordered 2 medium pizzas a couple days ago and it was probably the worst pizza any of us have had, it was tiny and the crust was paper thin, the texture was like hard cardboard and barely able to chew through it, out of both the medium pizzas over half of it went to the garbage.. the worst part was we tried to call and complain and called 5 times total about 5 minutes apart from each call and they didn’t answer, this was an hour and half before they close.. completely unacceptable especially being a $40 pizza.

Fabulous and quaint diner right on highway 7 just outside Havelock. Definitely worth a stop - burgers and fries are homemade! Delish.

As I often travel on Highway 7, I have driven by this restaurant many times. On my latest trip to Toronto, I decided to stop here for a bite. I am glad I did, as the decor was fun, service good, and my burger tasty.

We ordered the pizza. Buy one get one free. Large first one was pineapple and onion and 2nd one was a cheese pizza. $47. Later and they over charged me for a peperoni pizza. Wouldn't buy again. I've got better pizza elsewhere. Definitely not buy one get one free. Overpriced ! Buyer beware !
