The hidden gem of hidden gems. Don’t have enough superlatives for coops. The food is so damn tasty. This place punches above its weight in terms of how good the food is relative to how famous it is. I have avoided posting this review until now because I didn’t wanna share it with others and blow up a really precious spot, but I’m moving away and won’t be able to visit as much so it’s time to give back. Definitely worth a visit, great value, and chef is just incredible. At least a gastropub and improving every time.
It is definitely a neighbourhood “watering hole”.
After a long day, I was not cooking! So we decided on Coops after our last meal was sooo good there. Catherine and her team did not disappoint!! Food was excellent.. the kettle chips are best ever!! The Caesar’s were perfect, and I even got one free when I pulled a lucky chip in the hockey pool, yay! To really top it all off I won the $200 prize in the hockey pool.. well go ahead, make my day!!!
We will be back soon, and I def recommend you give them a try if you haven’t already 👍🏻👍🏻
First time at Coop's HL. Food was delicious. Had the rib special, my husband had the wings. Best wings and ribs ever. Great service, everyone friendly. Will be back for sure

Just went to Coops for the first time since covid and this place is great Lots of new TVS tables and chairs. The food was delicious, the chicken wings were delicious and the service was great. Beers were very reasonably priced, I will be back for sure. Well done!!!
