Coming out of Algonquin Provincial Park we needed some breakfast.
Our objective is usually to find a nice, homey independent spot rather than the corporate offerings.
To support small business, and let’s face it, most of the ‘chains’ are garbage food.
So as we passed two Tim Horton’s and a McDonald’s in Huntsville we continued south on Main Street until we arrived at the Algonquin Cafe and Deli.
And I’m glad we did.

Ate a deliciously prepared meal today. The french fries were probably the best i have ever had as were the perogies. The homemade baked beans were very tasty as well. Staff were super friendly and went above and beyond. We had requested the perogies but were informed they ran out. We were going to order another item but the owner insisted on fulfilling our order. He actually left in his van and returned 10 minutes later with perogies which he cooked up for us and threw a...
