“Great food as always, and excellent service by Chantal. First time in since pre pandemic and very disappointed to see they’ve gotten rid of the pool tables and now close at 10pm on Saturdays. The hours are not listed on the Facebook page and it actually says they’re temporarily closed.“

“I've enjoyed the dinner buffet at Deerhurst several times over the last few years. This visit is after their recent update/reno, and I believe that's what made the difference. It was incredibly loud. You used to be able to hear dining music in the background and your partners voice across the table without effort. This visit it was not packed with patrons, but it was incredibly noisy. I wonder if swapping out the carpeted flooring for the laminate and removing the cozy booth seating to create a wide open space is to blame. As a result, it felt more like a cafeteria than a high-end, resort restaurant this visit. Food was good as usual, ambience was loud. Kind of put a damper on our anniversary dinner. While I do recommend this place for anyone who hasn't been, I won't be rushing back.“

“What a great place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. We stopped by on our way back from Port Sidney Beach, and had a fantastic experience. They were about to close, because it was Sunday, and we didn't know they were closing earlier. However, they took our order. Victoria was so nice, courteous, very efficient and fast, taking into consideration that we were a party of 5, and they were getting ready to close. The hot dogs and fries were so great, as well as the poutine. Also, that gorgeous vintage decoration is so great! We took a lot of pics. We caught up with the owner, John Collier, and had a very nice chat with him about the place and its history while enjoying our food outdoors. Thank you Victoria, thank you John for a very pleasant experience, hope we can come back soon!“
