Service was exquisite, the person attending our table was very friendly and thoughtful. Asked us about our special occasion and made a surprise to my wife at the end. Food was delicious.
Overall quite disappointed. The appetizer flatbread came out cold. The fish dish was good as was the pasta. My striploin steak and truffle fries both came out lukewarm. The server didn't come check on us for too long. When she finally arrived she offered to replace them. By the time the replacement food came out everyone else was long finished so I had to eat on my own. Not the experience we were hoping for.
Thanks to Ruben and Monique, we finally had a wonderful experience at Deerhurst Resort. Their recommendations were excellent, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately, we did not experience the same level of quality elsewhere at the resort. We were pleasantly surprised and relieved to have at least one truly positive experience during our stay. Thank you, Ruben and Monique, for your professionalism and outstanding hospitality.

The Compass Grill & Lounge, located inside the Deerhurst Resort, features a spacious setting with high ceilings, attractive decor, and paintings around the venue. The restaurant offers a variety of dining options, including popular fish and chips, the Maple Roasted Wild Boar Tenderloin, and Chicken Ballotine Caprese. The Pork Belly and Burrata antipasto and Deerhurst S'mores are also standout dishes. The food is so fresh and delicious. The steak was fabulous and so was the tiramisu. The Caesar Salad and Burrata & Tomato pasta were particularly good. The paneer curry is super delicious and the caramel chocolate mousse dessert was heavenly. The patio is relaxing and quiet with great energy. The ambience is very pleasant. The staff is very attentive and kind, with servers who are amazing, knowledgeable about the menu, and go above and beyond.
