Updated Review

I went in today and spoke with Megan the manager at the bakery after having purchased a loaf of Harvest Bread on Saturday before the bakery closed. When we were preparing dinner we sliced the loaf to discover a large air pocket to our disappointment as the loaf was. 10.45.

Megan today after my initial review, was very professional and fair in making it right for us. She offered a number of solutions like a another loaf of bread, a gift card, or something else. To be fair, as we still enjoyed the rest of the loaf, I opted for 3 chocolate chip style cookies instead. Yummy. They were soft and tasty.

As Megan explained and I understand too, air pockets can occur. Had it been sliced in house, the employee would have alerted me but since we didn't have it sliced there, there was no way of any of us knowing.

Pleased with the resolution and having tried the cookies both the bread and cookies we were happy with the taste.

This place is a Gem, stopped to charge my car at the nearby Tesla chargers, did not want any chain food. We saw this place on the map, and wow did it not disappoint. Reminded me of a cafe you'd find in Europe. They had amazing quality, home made baked goods, and also lunch foods like pies, sandwiches, and quiches. This place is seriously high quality, I will for sure return anytime I am ever out that way.

Great little spot just outside the central business district of Huntsville.
We were looking for a coffee and snack and this spot fit the bill perfectly.
Comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, and great food and drink.
It’s a family owned operation and it’s pretty apparent by the ‘feel’ of the place.
Highly recommend you stop in!
We’ll definitely be back.

Hands down the best in Muskoka!
Such a gem of a bakery 🤍 Everything is made fresh daily, and you can truly taste the difference.

The sandwiches are top-notch, honestly some of the best I’ve had—and the bread selection is incredible. There’s so much variety, and everything feels crafted with care.

The staff are amazing—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring, which makes the whole experience even better.

And the desserts? Absolutely dream-worthy. My personal favourites are the Neapolitan, the Portuguese tart, and the strawberry donut—each one is seriously next level.

And in the summertime, their drinks are an absolute must-try…so refreshing and delicious!

If you’re looking for quality, freshness, and great people, this spot is it 🙌

Henrietta’s Pine Bakery in Huntsville was our first time visiting, and we honestly came because a friend highly recommended it, and it definitely lived up to the hype.

The bakery has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and everything looks fresh and tempting the moment you walk in. We decided to try a mix of sweet and savory items, including the Napoleon pastry, the chocolate éclair, and a tuna sandwich.

The Napoleon was light, flaky, and layered beautifully, with a smooth cream filling that wasn’t overly sweet. The texture was perfect and felt truly authentic. The chocolate éclair was also excellent, soft pastry with a rich chocolate topping and a creamy filling that tasted fresh and well balanced.

On the savory side, the tuna sandwich was a great surprise. It was fresh, filling, and well-prepared, and the bread complemented the tuna perfectly.

Overall, Henrietta’s Pine Bakery made a great first impression. If you’re in Huntsville and want a place with quality pastries and tasty sandwiches, it’s definitely worth a visit. We’ll be coming back again.

This is a lovely bakery cafe. Their display is super enticing, we wanted to eat everything! We got lattes, a selection of cookies (maple shortbread, plain shortbread, biscotti), and the Rye bread. Everything was so fresh and delicious, I want to live here!

We came up to Huntsville to visit family and only stopped here because the Comfort Inn beside the place gave out free vouchers from the city for the maple festival... but omg, should've come here much sooner! The cinnamon maple twists we got for free were DIVINE and the latte I ordered was sooooo good. Boyfriend got a chocolate eclair and loved it as well. Service was phenomenal and the vibes are immaculate. Will be stopping here more frequently whenever we come see family! 🍁
