“Great new chef! We hadn't been here in a few years as the food quality had slid, but we stopped in for lunch on the patio today because the weather was so nice. We were pleasantly surprised! Everything we ordered was fabulous. Buttermilk chicken burger w fries, Wortley King burger w sweet potato fries, and the goat cheese grilled chicken sandwich with a salad. Absolutely delicious all around! The server said that there is a new chef in the last couple years and that their food has really improved! Definitely give them a shot. Lovely shady patio.“
“Fabulous new restaurant downtown. I don’t usually write reviews but this place is a must to visit if you’re near Canada Life Place. We had the lobster roll and Deb’s Caesar salad with garlic shrimp. The lobster roll was phenomenal and the Caesar salad had a generous portion of shrimp grilled perfectly. We were there before the Broadway in London show tonight and even though the place was full on the bar and restaurant side, the wait time was very reasonable and the service was exceptional. Can’t wait to try one of the wood-fired pizzas. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Best patio in london. Lots of room, can be private or public, and if it’s a nice day, and you want to people watch, this is the place. New food menu. Decent but a little pricy. It gets very busy on nice weekend weather days. Live dj on weekend nights. Located conveniently downtown london. Lots of reactants and pubs walking distance. Parking can be a pain, but worth it. Close to Victoria park which is the downtown park. So yeah, if you’re a patio person, you need to try Barney’s!“

“It was a Friday and my friend and I wanted to get together for a fish and chips lunch. I have had fish and chips at Sweet Onion a few years ago and absolutely loved them. Also loved sitting outside on the large patio. This time the fish was in a rice flour batter and it was very crispy but a bit too thick. The chips were excellent and the slaw was very delicious. The meal should have been presented on a larger plate because it was tricky maneuvering the fish to cut it without it falling off the plate. The decor could use a makeover as there were cobwebs where the ceiling met the wall. This place has the potential to be a top notch eatery with a little TLC to bring out the Greek-ness of the place and make it a unique spot in the Village. There are already 2 pubs, a Thai restaurant, a Japanese, an Italian, a vegan, and 2 great coffee spots. Leaning in to the Greek would be awesome Cleopatra!“
