People used to wait inline to eat here . The panzerotti was mind blowing. Not worth eating at all .never have to wait for a seat

My wife and I were in the area, and based on the things I had heard about this place, we decided to try it. I'm glad we did. We both enjoyed our meals and the portion sizes were very generous. She had a BLT, that came with soup and fries, and I had nachos, which were some of the best I've had. We will definitely return here.

Great place and a staple in Ingersoll. Service is always great, wait staff are awesome. Food is great and always quick. Fun place to go and they also have a large patio for a nice frosty beverage. Always a return customer.

Louie's own website listed that they were open every day until 9 pm. The Facebook page, the same. We arrived at 7:40 pm and we're told that they close at 8:00.
Our waitress was helpful as she sat us down and took a drink order. We knew exactly what we wanted but our waitress said that the manager/owner said something to the effect that the website, which they maintain, was incorrect. We drove 20+ minutes and had to crawl over a construction site to try this restaurant again as we had less than stellar experiences on a prior visit about 7 years ago. We went back to give them another chance and the above was our experience.
We had to take our meal home to eat it. Time in the car is not beneficial to a panzarotti although we felt the portion size and taste warranted the 4 star rating. The crust was notably doughy, not crispy like a top quality panzarotti should be.
We felt that the restaurant should have owned their mistake about the website times and either comped our drinks, offered a free appetizer, or discounted our meal. If you're going to maintain an online presence, either maintain the site properly or don't have it at all.
Although the food was fairly good, a restaurant needs to be more than that. It's supposed to be an experience commensurate with the price. Sadly, in our opinion, Louie's did not deliver as noted in my explanation above.
EDIT: I note now that Louie's website has been updated to reflect their actual hours. This obviously took place after we brought this issue to their attention. It's good that they made the change, but I still stand on my position about owning the error when we relied on the incorrect information.
