The best authentic Mexican cuisine within an hour radius. Fantastic birria tacos and margaritas by the pitcher!!! You feel like you just walked into Mexico! The best part is, the family!!!! They make you feel like you're at home. Amazing people running this restaurant. Always a stellar time here! Don't forgot to do your shot of holy water (tequila) with abuela!

Excellent value. Staff very friendly. Popular with visitors as well as locals, who like Mexican, German, or Canadian food. We had mexican food on this visit. Food was served hot and quickly. Drinks cold and refreshing. This business has been around for 50 years with a few different owners, the building and decor is older but the atmosphere is super. In the summer there is a deck that overlooks the St Lawrence River. Great place if you are camping at one of the Parks of the St lawrence

Very nice place with good service, but the food is bland.
Very, very bland.
It looks so enticing until you bite into it. Then it's just disappointing. No one familiar with the vibrant taste of real Mexican food will enjoy this.
We talked to one staff member who told us that the spices are toned down for the local population.... we asked if they could tone it up a bit and were told no.

This place is a little gem close to Upper Canada Village. Great selection of Canadian, Mexican and German food. Great atmosphere and nice people. Would recommend.
