Very disappointed, would not recommend. The soup watered down no flavor, chicken tough and dry and root vegetables that didn't warrant the price for the meal. Dessert was store bought no where near what they were describing. Gave points for service. They really tried there best.

We were really let down by the food, it seemed promising but ultimately the pea soup had no flavour and tasted like water, the sausage had no flavour other than some salt, the bread had no flavour and the Mac and Cheese had very little flavour. Service is okay, everyone is friendly and the food comes relatively quick but very few table checks if any. Atmosphere is in line with the rest of the village so not a disappointment, nevertheless, some music wouldn't hurt. Didn't have dessert so can't comment.

Scam to avoid
Very expensive for what you eat
Stingy portions
The homemade vegetable stew with an assortment of fresh vegetables was a ready-made couscous vegetable bag!

Excellent typical meal.
Superb welcome in this old restaurant from the 1800s, vintage decor and atmosphere guaranteed!
Servers dressed in period clothing, time travel guaranteed!
The meal in the form of a table d'hôte or a la carte, we opted for the tale d'hôte with pea soup as a starter (excellent), a beef stew as a main course (like at home, simple and very good!), bread made on site by the baker and finally dessert (blueberry tart, killer!!) with coffee.
Complete meal and very reasonable price for this type of place, address to recommend.

Seated comfortably on the second floor terrace we had an excellent view over the nearby water. Speedy and friendly service from all three of the people who assisted us. Drinks arrived promptly and the food order was soon to follow. Oh that delicious bread! You have to try the Johnny cake, so good!

Service was amazing and staff were nice but the food was lacking in every way shape and form. Extremely bland like no seasoning, food was cold, beef was tough, bread was stale. The only decent course was the dessert. Williards really misrepresented what the dinning experience would be,when on google reviews servers are wearing period accurate costumes and they serve freshly baked bread. Not to mention you are forced to leave after an hour and at 40$ a person I have higher expectations. Save your money for a better restaurant.

My niece and I dined at Willard's Restaurant on October 1st. We were scheduled to view the Pumpkin Inferno at 9:30 p.m. but, because we were going to dine at Willard's, Julia asked the admissions center to allow us to enter earlier which, in turn, altered our viewing time to 7:30 p.m. (a more reasonable time since we had to drive back to Ottawa after the walk-through). The restaurant service was exceptional and the home cooked meal was delicious. Thank you for enhancing our evening visit.I plan to return to Willard's Restaurant prior to Upper Canada's Christmas "Walk About".

Good polite attentive service. Beef stew was very bland. Chicken sandwich was good. Marcaroni and cheese was dry and lacking in taste. Local bread was delicious. Really overpriced.
