Seated comfortably on the second floor terrace we had an excellent view over the nearby water. Speedy and friendly service from all three of the people who assisted us. Drinks arrived promptly and the food order was soon to follow. Oh that delicious bread! You have to try the Johnny cake, so good!
My niece and I dined at Willard's Restaurant on October 1st. We were scheduled to view the Pumpkin Inferno at 9:30 p.m. but, because we were going to dine at Willard's, Julia asked the admissions center to allow us to enter earlier which, in turn, altered our viewing time to 7:30 p.m. (a more reasonable time since we had to drive back to Ottawa after the walk-through). The meal in the form of a table d'hôte or a la carte, we opted for the tale d'hôte with pea soup as a starter (excellent), a beef stew as a main course (like at home, simple and very good!), bread made on site by the baker and finally dessert (blueberry tart, killer!!)...
