We stumbled upon this place while driving. We ate outside. Our meal was delicious. I recommend the Jerk chicken dinner. It was very tasty. The vibe was chill. They even had a D.J outside playing some jamming beats. I wish we lived closer We would be there a lot. Beautiful owners who are super friendly and kind. 5 stars all around.

Great food & great customer service! My family came from Ottawa to visit family in Toronto. After a few hours at Friday Harbour we decided to stop by this restaurant and everything was great. Owners were really sweet! Definitely will come back!

Overall, I had a wonderful experience! Not only were the staff and owner super friendly and welcoming, the food was phenomenal. I was apprehensive about ordering the Oxtail because I haven't previously eaten a lot of Jamaican food, but it was totally worth taking the risk. Highly recommend.

The customer service and ambience of the restaurant is amazing however i found the food to be severely lacking and expensive. The jerk chicken was pink on the inside in every single bite and not cooked thoroughly. The rice and peas however were very good and you could taste the coconut milk.

Visited with friends and we ordered several dishes, each one better than the last. The oxtail was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a sweet sauce with just the right amount of spice. The grilled shrimp was cooked to perfection, complemented by a delicious sauce that added even more depth to the dish. The jerk chicken had a fantastic smoky flavor that really stood out, while the plantains were sweet with perfectly crispy edges. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—each dish was a hit! Even the cocktails were top-notch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving authentic Jamaican cuisine!

The food is tasty but the service was very poor. It seemed like the server had received minimal training, if any. A group of 11 of us went there and some people finished eating while others hadn't even gotten their food. Some members of the group asked for the volume of the music to be turned down so they could hear themselves speak. We were the only group there. The member of staff took it as an insult and became angry and defensive even though no harm was meant.

Dropped by for a take out order for four. We ordered the fried chicken dinner, jerk chicken dinner and jerk chicken pasta. Everything was really excellent, flavourful and well cooked. Rice and peas were delicious, and well seasoned. Chicken was very tender and had a strong smoked flavour. Would definitely come back and eat outside with a cute view of simcoe. Just note the wait for your food may be long, so plan accordingly.

We waited two years to come here and it was well worth the wait! We will definitely be returning. It was as phenomenal as the initial sampling at a large private school Christmas market. Everything was perfect and authentically Jamaican. The jerk and fry chicken, shrimp, rice and beans and slaw were delicious. It was so hard to decide on what to order because we knew that it would all be incredible. Would love to see a sampler share platter to make it easier! The service, the ambiance, the food and the location - it is actually a plus, too! Definitely a new fave!

Ordered burger and fry combo x2 with poutine upgrade...food was great, but upon looking at the bill my gf had, they had charged us seperatly for poutines instead of combos...big difference...and fry portion was small for a $15 poutine.
