We love this restaurant. Food is fantastic the waitress are phenomenal. We have been coming here at least once a year over the last number of years excluding covid time. You can’t ask for more the Ramada Inn shows it’s age but the rooms are clean and you can’t ask for a better view. Then to have such a fantastic restaurant attached is the icing on the cake.
I have been several times and will return for sure...already made reservations for a larger party. I highly recommend...view is amazing, decor is beautiful and table spacing for conversation is excellent. I never feel rushed. Excellent!
We ordered mussels in a white wine and orange juice sauce as described in the menu. They came out luke warm. They should be hot. We asked for them to be re-tossed. When they returned, they were hot but no longer in the white wine orange juice sauce. They were in oil. The mussels were taken off the bill. Although appreciated, appreciated. It is a unfortunate the kitchen did not put out when was described on the menu the second time.
The Beacon Harbourside Restaurant offers a Christmas buffet meal set in a scenic location with lovely decor. The view is beautiful, although it can be affected by fog. Guests have noted that all food ordered was beautifully prepared, of high quality, and very tasty. The roast beef was tasty, but a bit rare, and the turkey was noted as dry. The ham received praise for being excellent, and the variety of breakfast foods was enjoyable. The charcuterie station provided a nice selection, but guests mentioned that no holiday treats were available. While the service was generally friendly and attentive, it was sometimes spotty, especially during busy nights. Many guests praised the staff for being efficient, even when serving large groups. However, there were comments about seating arrangements, as some guests requested tables by the window but were not accommodated, despite many window tables remaining empty. Additionally, some diners found the lighting too bright for a romantic atmosphere. Overall, the dining experience had many positives, including great service and breathtaking views, but the food quality and wait times varied, leading to some disappointments.
