We had our wedding at Honsberger back in December - and we couldn't be happier with our experience! Mel, the wedding planner was so helpful and accommodating for us! She made sure that every little detail was perfectly executed... we couldn't be more grateful for all her help throughout the process!! As always, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was gorgeous!

We had an amazing wine tasting with Barb and our family on Saturday at your winery! Barb introduced us to an excellent array of wines from Riesling to Cab Franc and we can’t wait to share some of the several bottles we brought home with our friends! The ambiance late afternoon with setting sun and fun conversations about your viticulture at Honsberger was the highlight of our afternoon thanks to Barb’s impeccable customer service and enthusiasm!

We had a great time here again! My friend and enjoyed our lunch on the patio sipping some Chardonnay and eating the delicious prawns with homemade bread. So relaxing and wonderful service by Sara who was friendly and attentive. This is one of our favorite places!

Had a reservation this past Sat and was excited to show our friends this gem. There was limited seating outside because of weather and we were told that there was no other option but to sit inside. Inside was off the chart noisy and as we were still waiting for the couple, asked again about outside. Lucky for us a family was leaving and we got that table but was from us watching and letting hostess know. Our friends came and we ordered drinks so all was good. We have come many times and the food is always good except not this time. Not sure if something has changed ? Pizza was bland and our friend ordered baked pasta and he said it was dry. For the price it was all disappointing . Not sure If we will return , definitely after this experience will not bring people .

Don’t miss this place!
Went here, August 24, 2024 for a couples dinner.
This is a beautiful outdoor dining experience. We were surrounded by beautiful gardens, the atmosphere is just so gorgeous. The weather was perfect for us. It is an outdoor patio setting so dress for the weather. Even though it was busy, it was still very quiet and relaxing. A singer with his guitar made it very pleasant.

Our server was Sara and she was very knowledgable about the wines and the menu.
This is a fine dining experience and she timed the courses perfectly, excellent service.

The food was all very amazing and delicious.
Practically everything you will eat is grown or raised right here on this family farm.
The kitchen is right outside nearby and open.
We got to chat a little with the incredible chef, Brittany. You could watch her and her team working away if you sat fairly close like we did.

This is not budget dining and so I paid a bit more, but the experience, the farm fresh food, the atmosphere were all worth the extra $ and we did pay more because we ordered two apps and wine.

I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be going back.

I have been coming to Honsberger, every summer for the last six years. The atmosphere, and service are unmatched. See a lot of reviews about being turned away, this is a hot spot, book a reso! We have every year and have never been disappointed.

I will say this year, a number of changes were surprising. I felt the menu options and overall food has gone down. Compared to previous years and menus, this was our least favourite. The food in years past has been top notch!

No dessert menu?!!?!

This was subbed with a gelato bar, after the patio meal. The bar and setup was so stunning, and I’m sure allows for tables to turn faster. But felt short changed.

Unsure if we’ll come back unless there are some changes.

Had a reservation for dinner. We were seated quickly. We ordered two drinks, prawns appetizer and baked pasta and a classic white pizza. It took a long time for us to get our drinks but there's water on the table so we are good. Then the entrees came so I reminded them about the appetizer. And it only arrived when we were done with dinner. I would have cancelled the app if it was gonna take that long. We had some of the prawns and bag the rest to go. Food were delicious but the service was just meh

Appalled by the attitude we were given this past Sunday by the hostess. We arrived before noon with our one year old and told very rudely that reservations are mandatory for brunch. Did not apologize, did not redirect us to the tasting room, did not pretend to look for an available table. Made to feel like we should have known better. We are new the Niagara area and won’t be back. What a shame.

The meal we enjoyed at the restaurant here was next level enjoyable. Incredible food with a large amount of thought put into every aspect of it, and it showed. The ambience is beautiful and the staff are attentive and warm. Can’t wait to go back again!
