I stopped here yesterday, grabbed a panini to go and some delicious looking pickles! Then I went to the falls and enjoyed my sandwich with the waterfall rushing in the background. It was the perfect break on a long drive!

Stopped here for coffee on our road trip east & then again heading back west.
A nice coffee & we had a sneaky scone too. The amount & variety of home made preserves is mind blowing.

A MUST STOP! The cookies here are mind-blowing followed by a delicious coffee and it was heaven. There is a beautiful outdoor sitting area to enjoy your treats and the owner is an incredible woman. I loved the variety of goods inside the store and had to buy some pottery....can never have enough mugs lol .
Picked up take out lunch for 15 people. All hot and packed nicely for pick up. Everybody commenting on how good the soups and wraps were. Once again, excellent choice ?

Stopped in for breakfast on our way through Kakabeka Falls. Unfortunately, they were unable to do breakfast due to septic issues but they pointed us to another local option. Still, I ordered a maple latte and it was the best coffee that I had on my cross Canada road trip! I'm sure the breakfast would have been great as well.

This is a lovely place to drive to and have coffee and a snack or sandwich. We ha e tried two sandwiches (both) left us underwhelmed barely a smear of pesto on the chicken sandwich, but the prices are reasonable.
Parking: Probably at least 10 spots
Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp

Lots of shady or sunny outdoor seating. We had a delicious feta wrap, chicken pesto panini, a warm, freshly made coconut scone and a coffee. A beautiful short walk from Kakabeka Falls campground.
Vegetarian options: Delicious feta and veggie wrap with lots of greens.

This is a cute place. The food was delicious. I was able to get on their wifi as I didn't have cell service in that area. Highly recommend!!
Returning to Metropolitan Moose Beanery & Cafe felt like coming home. Last summer, their coffee and wraps won our hearts. This visit, it was the ginger snaps - crispy, perfectly spiced, and dusted with fine sugar, they were unforgettable. The cafe itself, with its chalkboard signs and retro vibe, wraps you in warmth and charm.A special shoutout to the wonderful lady who gifted us freshly baked ginger snaps; she’s a true baking fairy. The Metropolitan Moose isn’t just about great food and coffee; it’s about moments of joy and comfort in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. To anyone looking for a place that feels like a warm hug, this cafe is a must-visit.
