Great breakfast!!Excellent service !!Got takeout breakfast. We got there 10 minutes before the restaurant opened and they let us in anyways.They are right next door to Telstar pet friendly motel which makes this a convenient overnight stop.
While travelling home from Edmonton, I ended up in the town of Kakabeka Falls (30 minutes from Thunder Bay). My friend and I stopped at The Eddy for dinner, as it seems be the only restaurant in town. We went in and were pleased to see that the special was Chicken Biryani. I ordered a French Onion soup which had a tasty broth, lots of onions, bread and cheese. It was better than the last 10 I have had in restaurants. The first thing I noticed is the waitress appeared to be wearing pajama bottoms and a hoodie If she didn't come to greet us I would have thought she was a customer. 2nd, I could see the cook preparing someone else's meal and no hair nets. (he also had facial hair). I personally find this very unsanitary. So I ordered the battered tenders and my husband ordered the fish. Portions were excellent but so very greasy.
