One of the greatest burgers I ever had!

Walked over from the motel next door to get take out. Was greeted by a lovely lady who was obviously working hard due to staff shortage (thanks Covid) yet she was pleasant and attentive. Ordered the jalapeño bacon and cheddar burger with fries. So good! Will always stop in there to eat when up north.

Parking: Lots of free parking with easy access on and off the highway.

This place is gone down hill last little while. I have tried twice in last month both so very disappointed. From burnt chicken to terrible fish batter. Cook needs to taste their food, turn down the boiler , and wait staff need better training.

The cook came out and visited with us, he works for his son who owns the restaurant. Waitress was very polite and talkative.

We were visiting friends in Thunder Bay last week and after a couple hours roaming the Provincial Park, they brought us here for lunch.
The service was friendly and good. Everyone ordered something different, and there were zero complaints.
Highly recommend.

Kid-friendliness: Waitress doted over our friend's little boys and she brought them a page to colour and crayons.

Due to understaffing the service was a bit on the slow side but for the staff working they were awesome. Its not a fancy restaurant but I gave 5 stars for atmosphere because of small town atmosphere. The waitress was real and the locals treated you like one of their own.

The Eddy is a fabulous, small town cafe near Kakabeka Falls. After a lovely walk around the falls we were hungry and thrilled to find this gem! I got The Eddy Burger and was not disappointed. They offered friendly service, generous portions of tasty food, and a very reasonable price. It is a great stop if you are visiting the area!

The worst service consistently every time we have gone, this last time will be the last. We keep giving them a chance and we keep being disappointed. Told us to be seated and forgot we were there, 20 minutes later I went up to get menu's ourselves and the waitress got mad at me. She brought the menu's to the table, wouldn't just hand them to me as i was already up at the counter.
The other waitress finally came and took our order and brought our drinks, asked for a straw and it never came, waited 30 minutes for our food, there was only two other tables at the time. Second waitress was so rude the two times she came to the table.
No tip and will never waste our time again!

I gave 5 stars because this I had a 5 star experience. Keep in mind this is a diner on the side of the Trans canada highway. As a diner, it is one of the best. It is not a secluded romantic get-away spot. If you are travelling and you need food, this is the place. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff. Good food. That is what I expected and that is what this is.

Barb was lovely and the food was awesome. Pet friendly on the patio and server brought a little treat for the pooch. On a very long drive so it was a perfect break just outside Thunder Bay.

Patio was lovely, and the location is nice. The inside was a bit dark, and the ac was cranked high. Food was good, typical roadhouse fare with a few vegetarian options.
