Wanted milk instead of coffee - extra charge was full price of milk instead of minor differential charge as at competitor outlets. Does not encourage children to get the nutrients they need from milk.

We enjoy popping to our local a&w. Its close to our house as well as very clean and the staff are friendly. Its in a gas station but the seating area is closer to the back.

This experience was completely unacceptable. I very clearly mentioned NO egg and NO meat-related sauces in my order and even confirmed with staff that everything would be eggless. Despite this, my order was served with egg mayonnaise.
This is not a small error – it is a serious violation of food safety and customer trust. When a customer specifies dietary restrictions, they must be respected without exception. To assure me that the food was eggless and then still include egg sauce (mayo) shows a complete lack of care, training, and quality control.
For a brand of A&W’s reputation, this level of negligence is shocking. Customers rely on your staff to follow instructions, especially when it involves dietary and ethical choices. This incident (Order #17937, today) is proof that your current processes are failing, and it raises serious doubts about the safety of your food handling overall.
I expect immediate accountability and proper corrective action to ensure this does not happen to anyone else.

I usually don't eat at this location. My wife and I ordered separate combos. My wife first and paid for hers. I ordered mine and the girl tries to charge me for 2 combos. I said I ordered a single combo. She said she (my wife) ordered one too. So I said 1 combo for me please and continued to argue with her as she didn't understand. She's looking at me like I'm dumb or something. My wife said I just paid for mine and had to hand her the receipt. The girl then charges me for one combo and doesn't apologize or anything. It was hands down the worst made burger I have ever had from AW. And for $16. What a joke and a rip off. Teach your employees the basic understanding of English. And teach them how to make a burger worth coming back for. I won't be what a joke this franchise has turned into.
