Boardwalk Fries Burgers Kanata

I went to Boardwalk a few months ago, heard that its a new halal joint and absolutely loved it. Wasnt busy and it took a while to get the food, but it was worth it.Went again yesterday for Fathers Day. Big Mistake.There were several of us and our opinion is unanimous. The food was horrible.The burgers were all tasteless, all of the burgers as well as the fries seemed stale and cold.We paid over $100 and ruined what would have been a beautiful family event.I would not consider going back.Burgers and Shakes seems a much better option.

Ordered 2 combos with shakes today and they forgot to add bacon on one burger and the bbq sauce on it made it totally inedible. My vanilla shake tasted like sour yogurt, while the peanut one was too overpowering. Probably won't be returning.

Would not recommend. Many employees lack fundamental respect and clearly despise their work. When problems develop, they do not respond to questions and often treat customers as though they are unimportant. The owner also has no idea how to operate a business; he is frequently disrespectful to customers and fails to handle these issues with his employees. The food is ordinary and nothing special; the burgers are too salty, and the recipes are inconsistent. Many other restaurants serve similar food with far better customer service. Definitely needs improvement.

mixed opinions among my family but I enjoyed my boardwalk burger. the chicken burger though wasn't good. but the fries are very good. we tried both the chilli sauce and the parmesan garlic. staff was very nice

I'm not angry about it, but food here is very mediocre. The fries they describe as famous were obviously frozen. I had the BBQ Bacon Burger. The patty was not seasoned very well and the bacon they used was tiny little low quality strips. Like Microwave bacon. Because of the lack of flavor the only thing I could taste was the BBQ sauce.The best thing about our visit was the Milkshake my wife got.

I have tried all of there burgers now. I can say the good ones are the chicken burgers. I don't know why but none of their beef burgers had the taste and it felt like having those frozen burgers that you buy from supermarket and make it at home. Service is always good. Prices are decent as well. Never tried their shakes but next will be shakes for sure.

The door is locked, the lights are off and there is no one inside.5pm Monday.I passed by a few more times and it appears closed for good.

With all the burger restaurants in the area I thought I was in for another ho hum meal, but was pleasantly surprised. Really juicy burger , great toppings and delicious bun. Rings were nice and crispy and the whole meal was nice and hot. We will be back for sure.

This is the third time I have ordered from this place and this is the third time and I’m disappointed. The first time my order was cancelled by the restaurant. The second time the order was OK; and the third time, I paid for $2.49 for sweet potato fries and I barely got half of the fries in my container. I will no longer be ordering from this place. Start caring if you want our business.

Just went to it today. It is a very clean restaurant, the tables, the restroom, and the kitchen is pretty clean. When we made the order, we saw the staff cleaning the grill before starting our order. Food tastes gr8. Service is good and very welcoming and polite. It has lots of halal burger options! Their strawberry and cookies and cream milk shakes are amazing!

Just had a bad experience there! I ordered 2 double bacon cheese burgers with there special sauce one medium fries and one medium onion rings and 2 chocolate shakes for take out. They made the shakes first and left on counter for me to take but waited over 15 minutes so my shakes where melted. Finally got the food and asked both double bacon cheeseburgers and the girl said yes. Got home and discovered they were single bacon cheeseburgers. Drove back with my order and asked for the manager showed him the bill and he said would fix it. Waiting more and finally came and l asked again both double bacon cheeseburgers with your special sauce and they said yes. Got home with the new fries and onion rings and 2 double bacon cheeseburgers but guess what there wasn’t any special sauce that l wanted on it. They put bbq sauce!!! I’m done with them and they are way too over priced for what l got. $58.80 for two shakes and two double bacon cheeseburger and fries and onion rings. Don’t waste your time there and get the order wrong when you find out when you get home. Angry customer! Btw there chocolate shakes taste like Wendys.

8.99 for a third of a stale chicken breast butterflied and cut up on a bun. We got sweet potato fries too and we’re barely cooked, luckily we were able to toss in the air fryer to make them edible. We had such high hopes :(

I ordered the Bacon cheese burger combo with onion rings and a strawberry milkshake. The onion rings were nice and crispy and tender on the inside. Rings were better than any others i have had. The strawberry shake was most definitely strawberry. I really enjoyed that. The hamberger was very good. Over all the meal was excellent and most definitely will be back. Service was very good, the young lady brought over my food to my table.

Wasn't expecting much for a Kanata strip mall, but it was pretty good. Chocolate shake was the best I've had in a while. Burger was decent, fries were piping hot. I'd come back if I'm in the area.
