My new favourite hidden gem. The amazing staff is only topped by the amazing food. Will be back again, and again.

Loved the food and the colorful ambience. I'm not a fan of Mexican food but my boyfriend loves it. I flipped the script and took him out to Casa Mexico in Kanata. He had the burritos and I had the quesabirrias (marinated shredded beef quesadillas). I am gluten-free and to find so much I could chose from.on a menu was great. Both plates were delicious. The decorations in bright colors were delightful. We're definitely going back to try the tacos.
The most amazing quesabirria tacos ever. Never disappoints!!!

Good Mexican place to eat. Unfortunately, all of the products have corns in it and I couldn't eat it because of allergies.

Disappointed. Very, very small portions for a lot of money. Not worth it.

Went on the off hours after lunch. Incredibly friendly staff, phenomenal food. Can't sing high enough praises, these guys are killing it, and they deserve it for the effort they put in to making high quality food, and showing great hospitality

The atmosphere of this restaurant could be defined as walking into a covered picnic area in the sunny Mexican countryside. The only difference would be of course in January here in Ottawa noticed that the temperature was the same inside as it was outside. Everybody was wearing jackets. We were a bit perplexed at a $20 plate of chips and guacamole, especially when it came out and with the price we were expecting something substantial but it was literally just a small plate of chips and guacamole. The young lad who served us did his best with what he was working with and he was polite but the lady server seemed to be having a bad day. We casually asked about the heat and she reiterated that yes it was cold in there, which obviously didn't provide many details as to what was going on or if this was the usual for this establishment. The enchiladas and tacos we got were decidedly. Not bad but I've got better for $15 as opposed to $100 and that doesn't even include drinks. Very expensive, will not go again.

I’m Mexican. My friend and I ordered gringas to go, and sadly this is NOT a gringa. A real gringa is made with a flour tortilla, melted cheese, and al pastor meat. What we got was a greasy corn tortilla taco, with no cheese, poorly assembled, and pretty small. Each “gringa” is 9 dollars by the way. I genuinely thought they had made a mistake, because what they gave us was just a taco, but no, that was their “gringa.” I already knew it wouldn’t be the same as in Mexico, but I also didn’t expect… this.
I went back and, a little annoyed, they “showed” me the cheese they supposedly put as a layer on the tortilla. If you have to point at the cheese to prove it’s there, that says enough. Of course I wasn’t expecting an authentic mexican gringa but at least something that RESEMBLES one.
My friend has even been to Mexico and eaten real gringas, so he was the most disappointed. They did give me one extra gringa for the inconvenience that but I’m never coming back. Expensive and not worth it

NEVER GOT MY CHIPS AND BEANS. YET THEY HAVE MY MONEY.
Went for taco Tuesday. Tried birria, pescado and camaron tacos. They were just okay. Not worth it even for the special price of $6 per. Next time if I go, I’d try the quesabirria quesadillas which look better than anything we tried.

This is a delicious, authentic Mexican restaurant with hands down the best tacos in Ottawa. The service is consistently friendly and efficient and the prices are very reasonable for the high quality food.

I heard about this restaurant from friends and I wanted to like this place, I really did. But…the seating and atmosphere is lacking. Think cafeteria tables that seat four. I can be okay with that if the food is good value - but it’s not. The entrees are aren’t inexpensive at +$25 ea and you don’t get all that much food. My meal wasn’t made fresh to order and it was served to me cold. My wife and kids seemed to like their food enough, but for a cafeteria like experience costing $180 I can’t recommend it.
