First time visiting the store in person as we’ve only ordered online for delivery before & it was a great experience! The store has a nice vibe with lots of seasonal décor and unique gift selections. Everything was clean, organized, and easy to browse.
The staff were friendly, service was fairly quick, and we really enjoyed the affogato. The ice cream was smooth and creamy and paired perfectly with the espresso. Aside from my Hokkaido ice cream experience in Japan, this has been by far the best and smoothest soft ice cream I have ever had and my second favourite of all time. I also loved that you can DIY the chocolate drizzle to your taste.
I was a little reluctant to order other dip cones as I am not a huge fan of sweets, but this ice cream already has me reminiscing about it. It honestly was not overly sweet like typical soft serves, and having so many selections of chocolate is awesome. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Strawberry sundae here I come! 🍨

The service was terrible today. 2 people on cash taking order after order and noone serving the ice cream. The girl seemed like she did not know the computer system. It took almost 15min to get our ice cream. They would benefit with consumer service training.

Placed an order for ice cream and waited 15 minutes for them to make it. The cashier continued to very slowly take other customers orders without filling the ones she had already done. Very disorganized and very bad customer service….I ordered a simple cone of ice cream and did not expect to have to wait forever. Very popular busy establishment …they should figure out their staffing to provide better service.

The Kanata location deleivered me a gift basket with no card. After a few times of contacting the owner he has told Me he can’t figure out who sent it to me. Terrible service and actually a very unsavoury gift basket. No card with whom it was from and no after sales service. I do not recommend this location at all.
Sorry Dairy Queen new ice cream king in town. So good, pick your icecream then pick your hot coating among other things and boom! Enjoy! So so so GOOD!!!

You know you visit a business often when the owner begins to recognize you. There is no other dipped ice cream around that compares to Chocolats Favoris. Stick to your favourites or change it up each time you go, you can't go wrong. The chocolate is so good!!
