This is my favorite breakfast place, now that I've discovered the Halibut house 😁 They have a breakfast special that's only $5.95 and there is always a table to sit at right away! The staff are friendly and very attentive. I have nothing but positive feedback for them! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We did the haddock and chips plates for $13.99 on a Sunday. Came with coleslaw, tartar sauce and lemon slices. Very generous servings, extremely tasty, fries are cut large, giving a hearty potato taste. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back!

Got ripped off 🤯$28.00 for serious didn't even get me half full ,fries were like a small handful, fish wasn't cooked properly, and small for price no coleslaw, and tarter sauce was crap in a plastic bag ,can't even make tarter sauce at a fish place WOW 🤯🤯 .. Don't waste your time or money . Unless you like to get ripped off

First visit and there was only one server working for entire restaurant, taking orders, cleaning, moving plates and more. Not her fault but the fault of management for not hiring more staff. We had to wait 20 just to give our orders at our table.
The food wasn't great either. As you can see in the picture, the portions are small especially when served with the large plate, it just looks sad. The taste doesn't compensate for the small portion either. The deep fry halibut was decent though but their fries was way too soggy. Also their appetizers were very obviously just reheated in the microwave. There were some bits in the calamari that were cold in my mouth.
Maybe I came on a bad day with bad service but first impressions last. This business can do so much better if management cared but until then, I won't be going back to this place.

This was the worst fish and chips we have ever had. The fish was so over cooked it was almost like sawdust. The fries were under cooked and the coleslaw was tasteless. Very disappointing experience and we won’t be back

Hi, I am with my spouse and 2 kids dine in kanata Halibut restaurant with 4 different menu. 1. Halibut fish N chips 1. Halibut grilled 1. Poutine 1. Omelette. Once served the food on the table, I asked the server that the fries 2 fish N chips had 40% burned, and the grilled halibut fish was too hard to eat. Both of the lady server has agreed but they didn’t take any initiative to change the food or even say sorry about that food, not even adjusted or given any credit of the bills. The omelette was and purine was ok. It’s not expected at all though we had good experience. Thanks Rezon
