Good and friendly service. Went for new year day brunch. Food was nothing to brag about, was expecting a bit better. You got your usual brunch foods, but nothing special.

Attended Thanksgiving brunch. We had first sitting. The food was cold and tasteless. There was little to no imagination used in the menu for sure . If I were the Chef I would be embarrassed at what I prepared for my patrons paying $49.95 each. Worst buffet I have been to!

What a beautiful restaurant. Didn't experience any golfing as I was in attendance for a work event. But wow what a place.

If you go on Sunday, they only have a brunch option up until 2 pm. While it was a good selection, arriving at 1 means you'll be getting the left over, luke warm, clumpy food. And for the $35 price, it's just not worth it in my mind...

Beautiful venue, inexperienced servers

I have frequented the Ironstone Grill for years...1-2x a year usually in the summer months because of their amazing patio and good food. Today was the most disappointing visit ever.I ordered the classic burger described from their menu as a house-made burger patty, aged white cheddar cheese, house pickles, tomato, lettuce, remoulade sauce, Kaiser bun. What I got was a burger patty that looked like it sat in a warming drawer for 2+ hours with a slice of cheese on a Kaiser bun. No dressing at all. I sent it back, it came back dressed up with a loads of mayo. When I bit into it, I was disappointed - burger was warmish - not fresh off the grill and juicy and obviously not 'house made' and the Kaiser was from a few days ago.Server came to check in, she could tell I wasn't happy and sent the manager over to speak with me. The manager offered to have it remade, but we were on our way out so he removed it from the bill which was appreciated. I would have preferred to have got what I ordered.Atmosphere 10/10Service 8/10 - the server worked hard to keep an 8. When the manager came to speak with me I appreciated that she recognized I wasn't happy and tried to do something.Food 3/10 for the burger. Others at the table were happy with their orders. My daughter gave the chicken tenders a 10/10 and my Mom gave the nacho's an A.I'll be back....and will confirm the description of the burger prior to ordering.

Only after my visit did I read reviews about the mediocre food. The service was poor, too. My friend (seated beside me) and I decided to share a bottle of wine. The server plopped the unopened bottle on the table and started to leave! I had to ask "Aren't you going to open the bottle and serve the wine?" and received "oh" as the response. The server also brought small - probably 5oz - glasses and we asked for the larger balloon style glasses we saw at other tables. The response was that there weren't enough of the larger style wine glasses and they were reserved for customers ordering the 8 oz single serving by the glass. Let me get this --- we order a 27 oz bottle and get the 5 oz glasses while customers ordering an 8 oz serving get the 16 oz glasses???? The dinner menu is quite limited, but included shrimp Alfredo for $25, with a footnote stating "Substitute shrimp for chicken $5" so we asked for clarification. No, according to the server, there was a $5 upcharge for chicken Alfredo. Several of us in the group of seven ordered the salmon. Not only was the salmon overcooked, it was cold, too, as were the accompanying ancient grains and vegetables. Such a shame the food and service were so poor, as the atmosphere in the dining room and on the patio is beautiful.

Wonderful Sunday brunch buffet for our family with kids in tow! Just a note to the mgmt, perhaps mention to your young staff that they shouldn't be hanging out chatting as a large group near the entrance and perhaps paying more attention to food items running low.

My child took golf lessons last year and we never received the progress report or cap for the level that was obtained as promised. I tried to contact them with no response received to date.

First time eating here, went for a Valentine's dinner. $260 for 2 without drinks gets 4 courses: 1 - small charcuterie board that was thrown together and presented like you were making yourself a lazy 5 minute snack. 2 - over peppery mushroom soup which was also too oily and was separating or a big plate of old wilted arugula. 3 - the smallest and fattiest ossu buco you've seen in your life (maybe 3 bites of meat) served with undercooked rice and carrots (the only good thing from the whole meal) or cheese stuffed uncooked pasta (so uncooked it was inedible). 4 - a decent creme brule or a chocolate dessert that was so sweet a chocolate lover couldn't finish half of it. Took over 2 hours to serve the entire meal of basically 1 cooked course (about an 1h15m wait between course 2 and 3 itself). Pair that all with the restaurant ambience and charm that was about the same as a ski resort cafeteria and you have yourself a place you wish you never went to and certainly won't return to.

Thanks to the Ironstone Grill manager Christine for going the extra mile to accommodate us. The food and entertainment was excellent and the staff were extremely professional.

So called fancy golf course.I decided to be safe and thought you couldn’t go wrong with a club sandwich.Boy was I wrong.Bread was so stale it cut your upper palate. Not sure how they made the chicken so flavourless…but I guess that part was impressive.Save yourself the trouble and go to Burger King up the street

They used to have a very good menu and service was great. Since Brookstreet took over the menu is now very limited. There are other places in the area that are much better. Too bad. We used to love going there for lunch and dinner.

Dined at the Ironstone Grill today for lunch with two friends. The restaurant was pretty empty inside, with some diners out on the patio. It was a bit chilly so we sat inside. We were greeted immediately by a friendly young woman. Our server was admittedly new, but she was very pleasant and tried hard. The problem was the food. The menu is limited, and the food is pricey and not very good. I had fish and chips, with a spoonful each of cole slaw and tartar sauce, and the tiniest lemon slice you ever did see! The batter on the fish looked black, it was so over cooked. My friends commented on the colour when the server brought it and she said “let me know if there’s a problem”. In my opinion, it should never have made it to the table looking like that. I ate it as it was, as I hate to sit there with no food in front of me while my dining companions eat. I later saw another plate go by and the batter was golden brown, as it should have been. My friend had pizza, and it looked like a pita pizza I would make for a picky 5-year-old, with pepperoni the only option for toppings. My other friend had a burger with fries, which she said was okay. The fries were those coated frozen ones. For dessert, the cheesecake was one of only three options (including ice cream or a flourless chocolate cake). $14 for a tiny portion of cheesecake served on a huge plate with walnuts and strawberry purée. It, too, was mediocre in flavour and texture, like something you could buy frozen at Costco. All in all, it would be impossible to recommend this restaurant. I used to really like the food and I have been many times in the past, but this was the first time since the pandemic. The previous time (summer 2019) was a similar experience, with disappointing food. It’s too bad, because the setting truly is lovely and the wait staff are so pleasant.
