Drove from Carleton Place to Kanata to get chicken for supper ordered 10 piece bucket with 3 side orders got food home and was very disappointed.chicken very dry and funny taste to it gravey was very watery.will probably not by kfc chicken for long time.

This place looks worn and dumpy. There is no marked service counter, only digital screens to place your order. All the options are combos, and I found it frustrating, since all I wanted was a bucket of chicken. The staff were busy putting together orders and no one offered to help. I went up to the unmarried counter and got someones attention for help. This place is a whole different world than the one on Merivale Road. Then there's the price. Can you say skyrocket? And the chicken wasn't all that good. I won't be going back there, or to any KFC for that matter. I paid $40 for a 10 piece bucket of lameluster chicken. Outrageous! Oh,and the handicapped parking is nowhere near the front door. What good is that? Thanks but no thanks!

Update JAN 2026: Bad bad bad food, ordered a chicken burger combo and the chicken was super hard to chew feels like last night leftover, how can you give this to your customers? What a waste of money that you still serve low quality food after the renovation.
Ordered the Hot & spicy chicken bucket, the flour on the chicken is way too thick which made it taste like I am eating bread; the chicken tender is too salty; but the gravy, fries and popcorn chicken is good. Would drive a little further to another location next time.

I will not recommend this location. Charged us for the meal we requested but gave us different meal, which was much cheaper. By the time we opened the package we were already on the highway. Check your food and maybe try other location where customer service is better.

I dont know where to start. As a drive thru customer, after paying for my order (which was difficult to get right by the vendor), they made me wait for more than 30 min at the drive thru parking lot for a simple meal (we were many other cars waiting). Other unhappy drivers were going inside to get their food. I eventually decided to drive thru again. Guess what, they forgot about my order!!!!!!!!! I could have been there the whole night, waiting for nothing... I wish there was another KFC nearby. 5-stars for the food. For service: 0 star.
This location is not care about walking and online order. They just doing drive through as fast as they can. Each time I visit this location my food was late and I had to wait for 20 minutes for my food.

Kids wanted KFC, we haven’t ordered it in about 6 years. Picked it up for dinner last night after work. I ordered the 10pc festive feast. They entered the wrong ordered in, charged me, and then got mad when I asked why it was cheaper than what was on the menu board. Instead of giving me what I ordered, they made a refund, and then charged me. Fine. The woman was so rude. Threw her hands in the air, sighed and rolled her eyes at me after I told her I wanted what I ordered, not what they punched in. Again, fine. We paid, got our food, headed home. The stuffing was like a spread. No one could eat it. By midnight, we were all sick, grumbling bellies, feeling queasy. The cleanliness, customer service, and most of all, food safety was CLEARLY lacking. I’ll never buy KFC again, I’ve learned my lesson.
