I don’t typically take the time to post reviews but I’m uphauled and disgusted at what I saw last Friday evening. I went through the drive thru and order one cheese burger and a small fry. I paid and waited for my order. As I waited, I was looking through the drive through window and could see the evening manager (with an extremely filthy work shirt on his phone). This isn’t even the bad part of my review. There was another employee scratching and rubbing her face. I was thinking, thank goodness she isn’t handling food. I figured she was the employee that was grabbing the ready orders to hand out. Then I saw her move towards the kitchen. The cashier handed me my order a few minutes later, at the same time as the lady who has been scratching her face came back to the front. I asked the cashier “who” made my order and he pointed to the lady. I said I wasn’t comfortable taking that order as she did not appear to have clean hand. Cashier was very polite and took it back and said he’d make a new one. The manager and lady and cashier all disappeared to the kitchen where I couldn’t see them. I was so grossed out and didn’t trust that I would get a new “clean” order that I drove off. Without my money. This is gross. It’s not OK. Sanitization is so important. Most restaurants even have signs in their washrooms stating that all employees should wash their hands. I have no other words. But I’m not about to risk getting sick because of this lack of common sense

The happiest most friendly crew IN NORTH AMERICA. Drive thru lane is narrow and quite a difficult maneuver.... But it is typical in city of Ottawa to prohibit truck use and not this franchises fault.

The overnight/very early morning staff are fantastic. Super friendly and quick (i only get coffee). Any other time of day is a gong show. Since the new owners took over and their veteran managers and employees left the service and quality has dropped significantly.

I’ve only had incredible experiences at this McDonalds. I visit this location every week with my friends. Vivik (works the night shifts) has been absolutely incredible. He’s very friendly, efficient and patient as we organize our orders. Most importantly, he has our order prepared quickly but not at a sacrifice to the quality of food.
Big kudos to Vivik and team. Keep up the awesome work.
