Really really high quality shawarma. The chicken is seasoned really well and has a warm taste to it that pairs really well with the sauces. The portions are generous and they mean BUSINESS when it comes to extra pickles. The restaurant is always clean. The service and everyone that works there is lovely. One of my favourite shawarma spots. The “magic” sauce is a game changer!

I previously left a positive review for this place, but after my visit last night, I won’t be returning. The service and food quality were both extremely disappointing.
When I went to order, there were more than five employees behind the counter, but two of the men kept talking to each other in Arabic while I stood there waiting awkwardly for someone to take my order. They were speaking over the food the entire time.
When my order was finally taken, the older man preparing the meat became noticeably upset after I politely asked a younger worker to add a bit more onion. I even raised my voice to clarify that I was the one who asked, but he seemed more bothered that it disrupted his arrangement of the meat than anything else.
The meat he served was full of fat, dried-out pieces, and was stone cold. After a few bites, I had to throw the entire meal away. I went to my car feeling nauseous and ended up getting sick in the parking lot.
The quality has gone downhill dramatically, and it’s frustrating to waste $30 of my hard-earned money on a meal I couldn’t even eat.

Finally! An old school Shawarma place that loads you up with delicious tasting food, delicious garlicky garlic sauce and fresh pita/toppings. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back.
I wandered in a year ago not realizing this place would become my go-to. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, and their garlic sauce slaps. Unlike some shawarma spots in the city, their meats are never dry. Portions can vary a bit depending on who prepares the meal, but my partner and I always split a mixed platter and end up fully satisfied (and usually stuffed). Highly recommend for reliable, delicious shawarma.

I love going to this local spot. I've had shawarma all over Ottawa and when I moved to Kanata I was sad that I probably wouldn't get as much good shawarma anymore. Boy was I wrong! This place is legit and makes some of the best I've had. Always served with a smile and extra turnips when I ask :)

We visited on a lazy afternoon expecting the usual limp-lettuce, nobody-cares vibe you get when a place is slow. Instead, these folks were sharper than a Damascus blade. The staff immediately steered us toward a cheaper combo than what we were about to order, which tells you everything you need to know about how they run this joint. You don’t get that kind of honesty unless people take pride in the place.
Spotless counters, everything prepped like someone’s mom was about to judge it. The chicken and beef were dialed in perfectly: juicy, seasoned like they actually tasted it before serving, and not a hint of that “heat lamp purgatory” flavor you get at lesser shawarma spots.
Fast service, friendly people, fresh ingredients. Sometimes a small shop like this just hits you with the reminder that good food doesn’t need theatrics - just care and a kitchen that’s been loved.
Would come back without hesitation.
