Simbad Bakery and persian kabob

This place has gone downhill since the new owners, I've been going there since it opened with the old owner (who was super nice).

Everytime I go, the meat is spread thinner across the pita and hardly any cheese is added, not to mention my onions requested are always missing, as well as the lemon and spice which is always forgotten. What am I paying for??

Disappointing!!!

The quality of pies have decreased, there are other tastier spots in the area !!

It was my first time here with my family. We had meat pies and some bbq, the meat was delicious and soft ??. The places was really nice and clean. Also for the amount of food we got the price was really good.? I would totally come here again.

I’ve had the chance to try this place twice so far since it was sold to a new manager/owner.
The first time, I ordered zaatar manaeesh (pies) which were amazing! The zaatar smell and taste reminded me of home!
Today, I tried some meat pies (lahme baajine) and chicken skewers. Frankly, those were the most tender chicken skewers we’ve ever had in Canada! The meat pies were also very tasty! My kids enjoyed them!
The staff were very friendly, professional and very kind! I received a great discount too! We will come back for a dine in next time for sure!

I came in with my family for the first time for dinner and I can guarantee it won’t be the last. The food was amazing the family platter for the bbq meat and chicken taste phenomenal it literally melts in your mouth?. I also tried a cheese pie with hallal pepperoni and it’s delicious not greasy or chewy but it has a good crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. The place overall was extremely clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I 100% recommend anyone to come by if they’re looking for amazing food service in a clean environment.

Best place to pick up Lebanese style cheese, meat, and Zaataar pies in Kanata. I have tried many other places that sell Lebanese pies but they know how to do it best! Great for early AM breakfast!

Dinner kabobs with the chicken and rice are also amazing with so much bursts of flavours. Amazing bbq and also amazing service.

I had a very disappointing experience at Simbad Kabob. I ordered a special and asked the owner when it would be ready because I have to leave soon to pick up my kids from school. He assured me it would be ready in 15 minutes. After 20 minutes, I informed them I was running late and requested a refund. To my surprise, they refused and told me it would be ready in just 2 minutes. Instead, I was left waiting for another 10 minutes, all while my kids were outside waiting for me after school.

After 30 minutes, they finally threw the food at me, and to top it off, the owner grinned and told me to call next time. I felt completely disrespected. I won't be returning.

After rushing to pick up my kids and heading home, we finally tried the food—and it was clearly uncooked. The lack of respect and authenticity was astounding.
