Waiting for a table is one thing I understand but being seated, then watching person after person getting their food and their orders while my wife and I wait was grating my nerves to no end.
Watching a family who came in after us, got seated after us, then had their order taken and food made and given to them before we even had our order ticket taken sucked.
If I had known that ordering online meant I could grab my food and walk off while other people had to continue to sit there and wait, I would have and have had more of a chance to spend what time I had eating over the meal instead of just waiting for it.
Food was fine after the hour we spent sitting there waiting for it.

My favorite sushi place in Ottawa!! I love how fresh their ingredients are. They do it right and the prices are very fair. My partner and I shared two bento boxes and an extra set of rolls for $60 total!

As an uber eats driver, i took the order 10-15 minutes ago. When arrived the restaurant it wasn’t even ready. I also waited way too long.

The service was terrific I even tipped for a pickup order and I never even went to the restaurant before. The food however was absolutely awful. I spit it out and had to throw it away it was that bad. And I love sushi. I got the dynamite roll. In my experience at dynamite roll typically contains avocado, cucumber, crab and tempura. I can't eat cucumber so I asked for new cucumber when I get my sushi. The role did not have cucumbers thankfully. It also didn't have any tempura and it had this glob of some kind of raw meat that was inedible. I asked for a Philadelphia hand roll which typically comes with crab, cucumber and avocado. I expected there to be no cucumber which there was it. There was also no avocado. It was just a glob of the raw sushi meat and rice. They gave me a container of soy sauce so I threw some of that on the food to try and make it a little more edible. That just made it worse. I don't know if soy sauce can go bad but I think theirs did. It's unfortunate because the service was absolutely delightful when I went in to pick up my food.

We order from here quite often, but I’m not sure we will continue. The food easily the best sushi in Ottawa, we travel 20 mins to get it, and it’s worth it. However, we always order online well enough in advance, choosing a time that works for us going there and back (40 mins round trip). The food is NEVER ready on time. I’ve waited an hour past my order pick up time, husband is currently there waiting now 40 mins and counting past our order pick up time. Why bother allowing a time slot and orders if they can’t be accommodated? I understand freshness and I appreciate that, but this is beyond. We’re going to have to find another place, and I’m sad, as this really is great food. We just can’t justify waiting hours for pick up orders we made in the middle of the day for dinner.

As someone who travels to both sides of the country, this was very middling sushi. Rice was not very good, and the nigiri was falling apart. Ingredients looked a bit old (ate at 530), but were ok, and the fish was average at best. Given the location, it was ok, but if you are a traveler, you can get much better sushi at the same price on the west coast, and even in the prairies where it is very popular.
I wanted to try the placed based on good rating. I picked up a small party tray(46pcs). It had way too many imitations crab meat in the tray. Technically you get only 6 fish nigiris (3 salmon, 3 tuna). Not worth 4.5+ rating imo.
I get sushi from here all the time - good food but it is brutal attempting to make a pick up order here
Order at 6:45 - told to come for 7:45 - arrive at 7:50 and waited until 8:20 to get my food 1.5 hours to make sushi is just not reasonable.

The next day I came back and the server asked me out loud why I didn’t tip her which was embarrassing. Dont think ill come back
