Popped in on a Friday late night for some drinks and karaoke. The staff were friendly but the drinks were quite pricey. I had a vodka soda and was charged $9.60 (same price that my friends paid so not a 1-off) . I watched the bartender measure the shot & pour in no name club soda from a can into the glass. I am not particular about my brand of soda but if you're charging almost $10 for a basic mixed drink, I would expect more premium ingredients. To give a price perspective, a mixed drink with 2 ounces of vodka at Bluesfest was $10.

Sorry to say but someone has to tell the cook or the owners that all the onions they put in everything, are supposed to be cooked. It even says it in their menu, but all the onions in the poutines (weird) and Bangers and Mash were raw onions. Huge chunks. Take away order was tied in a plastic bag so super soggy when brought to table with the bills even though ordered 15 minutes before the end of our meal. Waited 25 minutes to order food at the beginning, but only 3 other tables in the restaurant. Had to remind waitress to bring second drink order.

Burbs...?I grew up in Kanata and I've seen this space with a few Names... I have lived a life with a few names myself. I drank in farther away places and even some actual fary tale lands. I walked around the Xman castle.. walked the city of the Dragons. Seen sunken ships in a submarine, and sea life from a helicopter looking down on the planet.I have collected many trinkets. Old books, and a wealth of knowledge. I have seen magic in this world people have forgot about and I even herd there is a dark Lan with a Leprechaun.The burbs has History. Story and meaning. The Burbs has fantasy with applause and laughter. The Burbs has great food, chill people and cool stuff on the ceiling.The Burbs could be a bar even for the Heavens and the ever after.The Burbs welcomed me in. My thanks aways after.

The atmosphere was dated and the food was awful. I ordered the green curry chicken on rice and it was gross. The sauce was really sweet but also really spicy. Burgers are pre purchased frozen Patties. We were the only people in there. The waitress took the order for half the table and then disappeared for 30 mins. When she came back she was bringing the food for the first half of the table before everyone in the group had a chance to order. Not the friendliest service either.
