I am from Toronto and was brought here to celebrate my birthday. I ordered nachos which were terrible, no salsa, just cheese, onions and tomatoes, not to mention they were cold. My friends ordered fish and chips and butter chicken which they enjoyed. Bummer of a birthday dinner 😞

The food and service were great. I got the classic cheeseburger and the toppings came on the side so I could choose what I want on it. The atmosphere was ok because there was a baby shower and they were being very loud. There was also around twenty 70 year old men and they were also loud.

Watched a drunk leave and go drive they don't do anything and let these people drink and drive on the regular. Watched it more then once tall older guy 60s McNally is the last names- they come into the bar and drink for hours and this establishment will let them leave home driving. Tried to report them today for the drinking and driving because apparently this establishment can reassure why they can't step it up.
First time at Kanata location. Went for comedy night, great night out with friends. The Nachos were really delicious, serving them on a tortilla was unique. Made it easy to eat right to the bottom. Wings were good, could have a few more flavor choices. Would return for the Nachos again on comedy night.

First time here. Fantastic pub. The royal oak family has always been a fixture in the Ottawa pub scene. The staff here are fabulous! Great music on a Friday night. The Apps are delicious. Salads too.
