I won’t go so far as to call this shop tacky (eclectic may be a better word) but the interior gives off a bit of a snakes and lattes vibe without the board games. The coffee, however, is fantastic. I had the chance to pick up a micro-roast “strawberry breeze” along with their normal Peru / Ethiopian mix. No roast date on the bag but the flavours just popped when made in a V60 (typical 16g/250g at 2:30 drip time) - perhaps slightly more cotton candy than strawberry. My fiancé...
Really enjoyed the dirty coffee here. My wife had the specialty coffee and it was a pleasure to watch the barista explain the different beans and regions they were from. The passion is apparent. We will definitely come back and try the cheesecake.
I am a big croissant fan and they didn't disappoint here. Very crispy and the matcha cream was yummy. The presentation of the drinks were good but as such the drinks I just found them ok. It's a cute spot. Maybe trying different items will change my ratings here.
