since new owners. Nothing the same.Thats what happens when people try changing menu. If business is good why change. Don't even go there now. I use to all the time

Half the menu isn't offered. Almost everything is precooked, which gives it all an old, oily fryer taste. The kitchen isn't very clean and there are many expired items. The owner doesn't pay his staff, or his bills and has a constant stream of bill collectors calling. Joseph has destroyed the restaurant and any credibility that the previous owners worked so hard to achieve. Shame on you!

The price: $9.00 for a very standard 2 egg brekkies, $12.00 after 1100 hrs. Way too expensive. Add to that a $3.00 coffee (which was bitter to the taste). Sausage and bacon was reheated from I don't know how many days ago (easy to tell, just by the look). Toast was cold. Not warm, cold. The margarine had not even melted. Asked for a redo on that and it came back limp and lukewarm (setting two on the toaster limp). Meal took 15 mins to arrive with only three tables active. Of the 3 tables, 2 had complaints, mine included. At least the server was attentive and friendly. Not her fault. The problem is clearly in the kitchen. NOT going back. EVER...

Starting off, we tried to go to the restaurant through the mall entrance but were locked out with a plant in the doorway. We had to knock on the door and the waitress let us know yes, they were open, she just didn't open that door. Ok.
Our waitress was very friendly, not very attentive (and we don't mind that. We don't want to be bothered every second of our visit. However we understand some people would want a little more attention) we came in for breakfast. My husband ordered the western omelet, I ordered the breakfast platter. After a very long wait, our food arrived. Well, mine did. They gave my husband a western sandwich. He didn't get any home fries and obviously didn't order it as a sandwich. We didn't say anything because unfortunately the waitress just never came back. So he just ate it. My scramble eggs were soaking wet. They were almost like egg soup and the rye toast (they charged us .20 cents extra) were so drenched in butter that we had to squeeze them out. I had to salt my eggs because they were very bland and I never salt my food.
The entire place is trapped in the 80s. The wallpaper is...wow. but as someone that has trouble seeing in low light, I was eating in the dark on this one, litterally. It was so dark in this place. It's cheap enough, but even for the price we paid ($35 +tip) it still wasn't worth that price. I would rather spend another $10 and go somewhere else. Overall it just wasn't worth it.

Also, to add.
I saw a person review just before me about coming after I had been there. I was that for 9am and they claim to come around 10:45am.
They note that the place didn't have change. I paid in cash! So I don't understand how all of a sudden they didn't have enough to give another customer change. Very very unprofessional.

If you haven't been here lately, don't bother. This used to be one of my favourite family restaurants, so much so, I would drive 1 hr to patronize. Not sure when, but it has changed hands, no longer family, the food quality is horrible and the decor and ambiance is failing. We arrived at 1045am, apparently breakfast is all day, but if its after 11am, you must add 3$ more, taking it from 9 to 12$, add your 3$ coffee and you at 15$. Eggs were over hard, not easy as ordered, bacon was burnt and not sure what's up with ketchup, but it was horrible. We also had a western sandwich, which was 9$, and not 3$ extra, ( she clarified, if it was an omelet, eggs on plate, toast beside, would have been 3$ more, but if the omelet goes on the toast, same food, just 3$ cheaper)but it was quite possibly the worst western in Lindsay, undercooked and clearly crafted by someone lacking knowledge of a Canadian breakfast. The bill came to $59, the establishment could not provide change for a 100$ bill. They offered 25$ change, that was all they had. Against my better judgement, I did their work for them and got correct change elsewhere. I have never been more disappointed with a familiar place in my life and will not return.

Restaurant was almost empty and it took an hour for our group to be served. The food was underwhelming and overcooked. Several orders were incorrect or forgotten. Our group was extra patient and made no complaints at all but everyone was disappointed in the food experience and food. Would never go here again for anything more than a coffee.

The vinegar I used was extremely watered down. Another cost cutting attempt 👎

My wife and I were there this past Thursday. I ordered farmers breakfast..toast was burnt, bacon was like charcoal , ham I couldn’t cut with knife and eggs over easy were hard..I gave the server a$10 tip because it was not her fault. Worst $50 I have spent and will never be back

I came for lunch. I have not been to this restaurant in a long time and I am assuming it is under different management than the last time I was here. The service was friendly enough but slow. And I ordered an $18 beef dip with fries. And what came was on a soggy hamburger bun with a small pile of very tasteless roast beef. The plate consisted mostly of fries. The sandwich itself was nowhere near what I usually have when I order a beef dip in any other restaurant. It is kind of my go to sandwich and it’s usually on a nice Italian bun or some type of nice bun. This was a soggy hamburger bun. And was extremely thinly sliced tasteless roast beef. I have had beef dips in the past in this restaurant and many others, but again I’m sure it was different ownership. This one was terrible.. And I am not a fussy person by any means. But I won’t be back.

We haven't been since the new owners took over. We decided to try it out tonight. We won't be back. Prime Rib was featured on the menu, but wasn't available. When asked why not we were told it just isn't available anymore. Same either ribs, and the lamb souvlaki

Neabors used to be a staple in this town and sadly has gone way downhill. With 4 other tables it took over 30min for us to get our breakfast. We asked for over easy eggs and they were hard. The sausage was cold and mush, ham and bacon were cold. My husband had a bug in his chocolate milk. Sadly will not be going back.

Upon entry, the restaurant and signs needs a refresh. Friendly server with lovely smile and quick promptings. Food experience was mixed with breakfast plate tasting good and 1 piece fish and chips quite disappointing - fish was definitely from a frozen package instead of fresh batter, mixed vegetables side was undercooked and oily from the cut up cabbage and green peppers absorbing it, and ok tasting fries. Not worth $15.

The one thing that left a distaste in our mouths is seeing the menu pricing for the senior section to be the same as the regular menu prices. I would hope a separate senior section to the menu mean a discount, but that is not the case. Buyer beware!

Hopefully the restaurant makes somes changes to revive a dying place that I see in past reviews used to be an awesome place. :(

We were craving Liver and onions and It was a late lunch, the chef made specially and to perfection! Enough for 2 meals. The tea was in a pot with a little jug of milk, hot water added without even asking. It took a little while but it was honestly the best liver and onions I've ever had. Thank you also to the sweet girls who served us. We will return. 100 percent.
