Went there for a luncheon on Sunday. A joke is not even the word I would use to describe a place like this. After reading previous reviews, I was skeptic to even begin with.Ordered the “Poseidon Adventure” - the only adventure I had was complaining about the rubbery shrimps and overcooked steak. I asked for medium-rare and was served what was practically a Chicago (burnt) steak. Waitress was very monotone and non-caring; forgot to bring my drinks even after I asked her twice.Never again.

Had a sleeman cream ale and this export molson beer with bacon wrapped scallops. Sooo good. Nice decor and good place for big reservations. Private parties would work great here.

I went to this restaurant last night with a group of 21. When booking our reservation our coordinator requested on more than one occasion that they have at least two servers for the evening as we have experienced an issue at this same restaurant some time ago (before it was the Old Mill). Well we did have two servers, however, the chef was also the bartender and the manager was also the waiter. There was only 2 other people in the restaurant when we got there and only two more came in a while later. We waited 40 minutes to get a drink. At no time during the evening did the manager/waiter ask anyone if they wanted another drink. If you did want one, you needed to hunt him down to ask for one. Everyone's dinner came except for mine. Clearly, they had forgotten about it. When it finally did come most of the people at my table were done eating. My chicken was overcooked and there no hint of pepper in the peppercorn sauce. The sauce was also very salty. Although the vegetables were tasty and cooked just right, they were cold. Then it came time to get the bills. This was extremely painful. The manager/waiter brought the bills one at a time rather than printing all of the bills, handing them out and then bring the debit machine around. I asked him if he could give everyone their bills and he replied, "we have to split them up". Of the 21 bills, at least 10 or more were wrong and had to be sent back several times to be redone. On a positive note, I did hear some of the group say the fish and chips were very good, the rose sauce was very good and the portions were quite generous. The restrooms were disgusting. Very disappointing. I will never go there again. It is 3 hours of my life I won't get back

Old mill restaurant is not affiliated with ramada inn, Lindsay, restaurant is still closed, ramada staff do not share this info but praise its chef and food, rooms are clean, 13 channels in tube

We had the wing dinner and coconut shrimp basket dinner...food was excellent, service was prompt and polite! The beer was cold and the pinot grigio was delicious!

This review is only in regards to the catering provided to my family member when they rented the conference room for a celebration of life. I've never eaten at the steak house itself so the reader can take my experience for what it is. Also, this review in no way should reflect on the service provided by the Ramada Inn stall. They were absolutely fantastic. We actually rented a room there for our stay. We arrived with our extended family to the hotel and while I went to the conference room, my son and partner went to our room to freshen up. I went to go grab a drink. Each time I requested a drink, the person serving me couldn't make any of them. Nothing extreme or out there. Rye and coke and a Bud. I guess in their defense, he was able to give me the very last Bud in the fridge but I anticipated to be able to have at least a couple of my preferred choice in beer. I settled for scanning the bottles that were there, and chose something new. Price was a little inflated but it is what it is, I was happy to have something. I go back to the conference room and people are starting to serve themselves. It was a small group, maybe 25-30. We were served a double portion of caesar salad, a double of lasagne, some grilled bread and two small trays of wings. I was in the middle of the pack to get food. At my turn, I got a tiny bit of lasagne, a piece of bread, two wings, and a tonne of salad because that was all that was left basically. By the time my son and partner came 10 minutes later, there was nothing left for them. For the cost my family member paid for this service, we should have been able to serve 50+ people with ample left overs. It might have made up for some of it if the food had been better but it was spectacularly mediocre. Definitely do not recommend this place for catering.

if I could give this negative stars I would unfortunately I can't... where do I even begin with this review. we rented the conference room at the Ramada inn for a get together after a funeral. amazing front counter staff Samantha was super helpful. unfortunately we had to use the old mill steakhouse to provide food. the food left a lot to he desired im pretty sure the lasagna was store bought and frozen and if it wasn't it was sad for homemade, the garlic bread was tasteless , ceaser salad was soggy, the chicken wings were mediocre at best. now what really gets me is the price I could have catered the even for probably half the cost but for over $700 we got 1 double thing of salad, 2 things of store bought lasagna, 80 wings . oh and the bar prices were just insane and barely any selection and they didn't even know how to make basic drinks.. if you have a choice of eating here or a dumpster... go with the dumpster it would be better food by far.

First time trying the OMS and the food was delicious! Steaks and shrimp were cooked perfectly and love your gravy! Will definitely order again!!

Waitress was really friendly, but the food quality was absolute trash. Would rather eat McDonald’s without question

I visited your restaurant last night for dinner, it was recommended to me by a friend. It was a a girls night out dinner. But I am sorry to say I was very disappointed. I had ordered the 6oz steak which the menu said came with seasonal vegetables and peppercorn sauce. What I recieved was a piece of steak tossed on top of a plate of french fries. There were no vegetables, no sauce, no steak knife to even cut it with. I had asked our waitress for some horseradish to have with it, which I never did get. One of the girls that I went with came to me today and said , you must have been pretty disappointed with your meal last night. She was going to order what I had and was glad after seeing what I recieved that she had changed her mind. The poor waitress was all by herself, it was busy, there were 4 of us and 2 girls got their meals then we waited and waited for the other 2 meals. Just an all round bad experience sorry to say. A co- worker asked us today if we would recommend going there, and I'm sorry I really had to say no.

Dinner for 4, very disappointing from the moment we walked in. Place looks like a cafeteria, tables are sticky, overall needs a major reno even paint would help. Chairs were old, feels like no stuffing. The wine list was a 2 page printed paper very dirty and torn. The menu similar, the menu PRICES! omg..$40 steaks, at this place! Maybe they are good, but would not even order here..would rather drive to Keg or other true steakhouses. So we had wings, which were ok but nothing special...cajun spice was just plain and no taste, other guests liked theirs ok. Service was good. Sorry, new to the area and trying everything...this won't be on our weekly dinner out list..too bad. Maybe good for a light bite or lunch, but please lower your prices to reflect your restaurant type

This spot is worth visiting. They serve big portions for convenient prices. Consistently neat and with awesome vibes. I highly recommend this place.

This is a great stake house, Fry's are good but not chicken wings they were disturbingly gross yet advised the server and no compensation still payed 16$ for a handful of fries and the one wing.
