Traditional diner style eatery right on HWY 35. Not a great experience for us. Super slow service. We waited over 45 minutes for our food after ordering. The table next to us had their meals served as much as 20 minutes apart. Had breakfast with peameal and the peameal was dry and tough.

We stopped here mostly by accident and discovered some good, filling food. The service isn't the fastest, but it is good and the staff are friendly. Probably they were busy with things we couldn't see is all. The fries with the meal were hot and fresh. The sandwiches were hot and generous. We had a toasted western and a farmhouse club.
I may not be in the area often but I would definitely stop and eat here again.

Had the special hash with eggs over easy and rye toast and it was incredibly delicious. The service was above par as the staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back for more. Dine in Sept 27/2024- the food was delicious as usual ( pulled pork Benny ) and my brother and his wife had the hash, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The service was a bit slow but were very accommodating. A definite must when visiting Lindsay.
UPDATE - DO NOT RECOMMEND! tried to go for brunch today, worst experience ever at a diner! Was not that busy but we had to stand in line for 15 minutes waiting for a table then sat another 15 minutes waiting for a menu and a coffee, when I commented that we had already been there 30 minutes the most ignorant waiter I have ever met put the coffees on the table and said “too bad, if you don’t like it feel free to go elsewhere- wow. The new owners have really let this place go downhill unfortunately. Sad to see a great business ruined by people in the wrong line of work, try the new Stacked in Lindsay instead- we did an it was excellent.
Best breakfast in Lindsay. Super awesome buffet on long weekends. Very friendly staff. Reasonable prices.

Me and my boyfriend attended this location today and it was our worst breakfast experience. The waiter came by to take our order and never returned after that. We sat in the restaurant for 50 minutes and the couple next to us advised that they were about to leave too because it had been an hour they had been waiting. The staff member at the front advised it was due to how busy they were but there was about 15 other people in the restaurant… I’ve NEVER had to wait this long at any other restaurant I’ve been to and on top of that have no waiter to come back to check in. Would not recommend.
