Symposium Cafe Restaurant Lindsay

Corporate run, servers have memorized lines to meet, greet, etc. I am not a dessert person and do NOT need to be prompted to PLEASE look at the selection. I don't want to get out of my seat and LOOK.

Went to symposium cafe for dinner with 2 others
The food was ok with pricing and taste but why I’m giving my low rating was I ordered a glass of wine. When I got the glass of wine it had lipstick on it. I mentioned to waitress who had to look at it first in front of me as if I was making one up. She then took back to bar where they got a new glass and poured my wine it from the original glass and brought back to table

The waitress did apologize but I thought they would maybe have adjusted the bill or something

Went on Valentine's Day. The dish descriptions weren't accurate to what was served, and when we raised it during the meal, it wasn't really acknowledged and nothing was done about it. Generally it was all pretty bland. All aspects of the meal and service were disappointing, except the dessert.

In case you have food allergies I would steer clear of this location. I told my server I had a peanut allergy. She didn't write it down or tell the kitchen and seemed confused why I was telling her. There's lots of other places that will send a manager out to confirm your allergies and confirm the kitchen is aware but this is not one of them.

We had terrible service….we had to ask for coffee three times. The waitress told us they were low on tartar sauce, when we ask for extra sauce. She was not very pleasant!!!!! Will not return.

Spinach dip tasted like it was made with just mayo and spinach and had a slice of cheddar cheese on it. I don’t recommend it. You can buy better stuff from a grocery store. Server was nice.

The squid was overdone &; rubbery. The chicken Slovaki was good . Overall food was good. The sweet potato fries were excellent.

Chicken parmigiana. Chicken over cooked. Tough and stringy. Club soda no carbonation, had to send it back. Disappointed.
