Sketchiest a&w I've ever been to. I asked for a refund the few moments waiting there and I watched everything the cook touched and then made my burger without washing hands, his hands also looked very bad like rash all over bad. This location is extremely DIRTY. It looks and smells awful!!! The minute you walk in it smells like a dirty toilet. AVOID!

Floors, walls, counters are sticky,and dirty. Gentleman with a big bushy beard who was preparing food was not wearing any netting or gloves. Cashier input wrong order so we were overcharged. Upon requesting a correction she argued and ended up just handing us $8 cash (not the correct amount). Certain drinks in the machine were unavailable. Will not be back.

A&W in Kemptville has had some ups and downs along with all other other fast food restaurants in town, I don't often leave reviews but noticed quite a few mixed reactions, so i wanted to give my two cents. I personally have always had a good experience here and recommend giving them a chance, the people there are friendly and the food is great.

We picked up dinner from this location on Sunday, 9 Feb 2025. The lettuce wrap had 2 very small pieces of lettuce (less than what was in my Uncle Burger). There was no way to make it a wrap. All 3 burgers had only small smears of condiments and the dill pickles were the smallest slices, I have ever seen and only 1per burger. My Uncle burger had 1piece of bacon. The fries and onion rings were okay. Very disappointing over all.

We hadn't been to an A&W in a few years, and this was not the A&W quality experience that we recall elsewhwere in Canada. The onion rings were soggy, fries not full, teen burger had one small piece of bacon on it, papa burger patties were on the dry side. The Root Beer was what we remembered, but overall it was an underwhelming experience. Pretty sure we'll go elsewhere next time.

Best place in Kemptville for a burger! If you're looking for a meal that hits the spot, A&W is the place to go. I had their Teen Burger meal recently, with onion rings, and wow, it was delicious!
The staff are efficient and really friendly too. They made sure my order was right and brought it out to the front quickly. The place was clean and felt welcoming I’d totally recomend it to anyone looking for a great meal that doesn't disappoint. Five stars all the way!
