We went for supper at Zamore tonight, we hosted our niece, husband and 9 year old great nephew who inspires to be a chef one day. For the last 2 summer he has been going to culinary classes. He has quite an appetite and loves to try different food. He even offered to use some of his pocket money to pay for the food he was going to order. We said order the food and eat it without wasting and it will be on us. He ordered the mussels because they would be Italian types of which he never had, Well it was a huge hit with him, said it was his 2nd best ever. Then he ordered the Short Rib, well that was the frosting on the cake, he would not shut up about how good and tender it was and the sauce was just to die for and he kept trying to figure out what they used to make this awesome and flavourful sauce. He actually became a pain trying to figure out the recipe. He kept telling the staff that the ribs and sauce was incredible… The staff was amazing, the owner came out to chat with him and the chef’s daughter came out to meet with him after and they shared the recipe with him. Actually wrote it all down for him. He was thrilled, he was so excited that the restaurant shared wi=their secret recipe with him, then of course he had to order the Coconut cream pie with several forks for us to share. Thank you Zamore for making a 9 year old boy so excited about this meal, we all enjoyed our meals, the food and service was a 5 star and the memories for my great nephew was priceless. He cannot wait to come back. First class establishment …… incredible food, wonderful management team. Merci.
