Food and service is always so amazing here. We come 2-3x a year for special events and they never disappoint. Tonight the chef blessed us with a complimentary order of this weeks special- apple bacon bruschetta and it was to die for. Definitely best classy restaurant in the area.
After my fifth time to Z'Amore, I felt obligated to give some well earned feedback. I went for the father's day dinner with my in-laws, and while I was disappointed their typical menu wasn't available ( I was looking forward to that second-to-none lasagna), I was again blown away at the quality of the restaurant's cooking. This place can not seem to miss. We shared the bruschetta, which was uniquely delicious with hints of bacon and baked apples, above and beyond anything you would get at any average establishment. I followed up by ordering a top notch loaded potato soup, then took a gamble and got pork ribs at what I consider to be an Italian restaurant or at least one that specializes in it. This place hadn't let me down yet, and figured I couldn't be in that much trouble. What a home run. I've been to many ribfests and have had a variety of pork and beef ribs in my time, and this was one of the better ribs I've had, and I'd argue one of the best sauces I've ever tasted.
The chef came out and chatted with us as he often does with the guests, and took the time to entertain us with how he comes up with some of these dishes while we begged for him to bottle some of the rib sauce for our own home cooking jokingly. This is a man who simply loves to cook, and trust me it's reflected. In a world where I find the restaurant industry has mailed it in, charging inflated prices for what is bare-minimum service in cookie-cutter rooms, Z'Amore seems to roll it back to what upscale dining used to be. Delicious food cooked with passion, combined with an engaging and interactive experience. Even our server, bless his heart, took the time to listen my father in law's groan-worthy jokes and one-liners, and if he was ever in a rush, never made it known.
The fact that this place isn't packed every night with a line out the door, is a mystery to me, though being in Kemptville's old town core, makes it a good hiding spot for it to remain a bit of a hidden gem. However I firmly believe the shine of this place will outgrow the camouflage of its location sooner than later, and I can only hope they're able to hold onto the reins and maintain the standard they've put forth. It is not an inexpensive outing, by any stretch(though I am sure one could soften the bill by not ordering bottles of wine like we did), but I will never bat an eye paying a bill at this restaurant so long as they keep me leaving as satisfied as I perpetually do.

Had dinner here in the winter for a friend's b-day. The food was delicious, the wait staff were very kind & attentive. My friend had eaten here several times previously - the owner came over and chatted with us for a bit. Overall very positive and yummy experience!

In town for the evening visiting family & we went to Z’Amore for the first time. We will def be back. Steve was a lovely server & ran us through the specials and some of his favs … our group had the bruschetta x Cesar salads to start. The bruschetta was a fan favorite! The serving was ample for 4, the cherry tomato’s were perfectly blistered and the fresh basil really popped. My husband and I shared the small Cesar salad, the Caruso, & the meatball’za - all were memorable and portions were perfect for us (even had some to take home). My mom had the Caruso with no olives (thanks for accommodating!) and my father loved his chicken parmigiana.
We are already talking about another visit the next time I’m in town.
Thank you to one of the owners (Sakr) for chatting with us and telling us about your family (pizza) history & answers all our questions.

Excellent food and service. A hidden gem. We have been twice and loved everything we have ordered. The fried risotto tastes just like I had from a top rated Italian restaurant in Rome.

First time here. The welcoming staff had warm smiles and great accommodation.
The drunken muscles was superb, the best I've ever had. Compliments to the chef and owner.
The chicken parmesan had a nice crust, juicy and tender.
The proportions are done well not too big and not too small.
We will be back!

We have been to Z’Amore a few times and we were always happy with the meals. My Sister-in-law and her best friend were visiting from out of town and we took them there last evening and they loved it. Our Server, Melanie was super friendly and very efficient. She took the time to chat with us even though we knew they had a large group coming in. My sister-in-law was impressed that the Owner was delivering meals and made an effort to speak with everyone in the restaurant to make sure they were all happy with their meals etc. it’s a great place for excellent Italian food and an awesome atmosphere!
We went out to dinner on a Friday and the staff was very inviting, greeting us as soon as we walked in the door. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food and drink were delicious and portions were large. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent Italian food.

Came here for date night and had the calamari, caruso and ravioli funghi pastas. Unfortunately the food is nothing to write home about, it lacked any kind of wow factor. I was excited to try the place and support local but honestly tasted like food i could make at home. The service was friendly but a bit slow. The dining area however is nicely decorated and spacious.

There aren't very many restaurants that impress me. We were a group of around twenty. I got to sample a lot of their dishes. Each of them were insanely amazing. We're definately going back.

I've been to the establishment several times and each time I'm very impressed by the amazing food. Their options and Gluten Free menu is amazing and cocktails are splendid. I highly recommend this local family owned dining experience.
