I now live in Thunder Bay where the Greek Restaurants don't even come close to the fare at the Plaza. Since June 2023, we have visited family in Kenora 3 times and each time, we ate dinner at the plaza. In my opinion, the Kalamari (appetizer or dinner) is the best – it is served with Tzatziki, lemon, thin red onion – perfect. Looking for somewhere new to eat while visiting, we stopped into Plaza for what we hoped would be some delicious Greek food.It was amazing.The staff were super friendly and energetic, and the special of the night they recommended sounded too good to pass up. Truly a hidden gem in Kenora. Staff are especially attentive to persons with allergies. In our case shellfish and gluten. The souvlaki and lamb ribs were the best Ive ever tasted. Fresh herbs and perfectly cooked. The he decor takes you to Greece. Excellent value for a really good meal.
