Had a terrible experience at this location. No one greeted us, there was only one girl working and she was at the back. She did not come out till she heard the sound of a machine ringing(online orders) she didn’t even acknowledge that we were standing there waiting to order. I really don’t understand this generation, clearly there is no such a thing as having good work ethic/customer service.

They don’t make the menu items right at this location. I’m shocked Dairy Queen hasn’t shut this franchise down. it is ruining the name for them. It’s dirty too, how does head office allow this branch to lower the standard for the DQ name . Health inspector needs to come here

Always dirty at this location. They don't allow mobile orders through the DQ App and you can't redeem or earn rewards because they don't have a scanner.

Workers forgot about my order making me wait 20 minutes for a poutine when there weren’t and other customers. The poutine was absolutely disgusting. I’m not sure what they made the gravy with. Absolutely rancid, I felt like puking.

Don’t come here if you have peanut allergies. I get that there’s cross contamination but a vanilla milkshake shouldn’t have peanuts & should be a relatively safe food. While it’s visit at your own discretion legally yes not in the wrong but ethically questionable for having no regard for others safety. Also smells like a sewage treatment facility. Better ice cream places around
A huge selection of ice cream, ice cream cakes, ice cream pizzas, smoothies, blizzards and a variety of other treats.
This location also sells burgers, chicken, fries, and more which look good.
Definitely recommend Dairy Queen if you're looking for an ice cream cake that will surely be a crowd pleaser.

1125 Progressive video of the greatest place to get an ice cream on a hot, Summer day!
Slow. Old food. Microwaved hot goods. Waited almost 30 minutes for my good and my entire burger was soggy with the cheese microwaved to liquid. Will never come back.
FYI they precook the stuff here and just microwave it when the customer comes to order something. Really low standards at this specific location.

Came in with the family for a quick cone. Everything was great. Unfortunately, for the staff that works there, the lighting behind the counter was flickering so badly I almost felt nauseous standing there for 2 minutes. I couldn't imagine working here.
Hopefully the owner can do the employees a favour and improve this for them

I was looking to go here but the bad reviews tells the story. Why isn't head office doing anything about this. DQ brand is being tarnish.

Yummy Blizzards, didn't do the tip but still delicious. Little dated but only Blizzards in town!

When you first enter this location, be sure to close the door quickly, as you will let the flys out. I have been to this location a handful of times and it doesn’t get any better. The service is absolutely terrible. No kind greetings, smile, or even an acknowledgment that I would like to order, as they stand there and stare without a word. This may be knit picking but when I have gotten my blizzards they are thrown together and look nothing like they are advertised. I have ordered the brownie batter mashup twice now and each time I get it, it looks and tastes like vanilla soft serve with cookie dough chunks. I mean, I know it’s a fast food job, but this is showing absolutely no work ethic. I would have loved to have been one of the many flys on the wall during an interview for these workers. Employer: “what are your skills?”…Employee:”I’m socially awkward, do not take direction well and really feel I have little to nothing to contribute to paying customers”…WHEN CAN YOU START??.
Seriously, you have 3 out of 5 stars with over 500 reviews! What does it take for you to get you act together??
From now on if I want ice cream, I’ll wait until I’m in Newmarket for some reason.
Be better!

I live about thirty minutes away, this is the closest Dairy Queen. Due to that, I called ahead and asked if they had any pre-made NUT-FREE cakes, or if I had to special order a nut free one. I was told on the phone yes we have premade nut free. Great.
I drove there, mentioned I was the one who called about the nut free cakes and asked which fridge had them. She didn’t point me to the nut free ones, however, she pointed out the ones that DO have nuts. I picked out a cake and because my boyfriend has an EpiPen for this, I asked may you please check that this cake I picked out is nut free? (skor. To my understanding skor chocolate was milk chocolate, toffee, and caramel). The girl looked at the cake label and said YES. This cake is nut free. I purchased it and went home.
After putting candles in it (this is important) I went to my boyfriend with it , and right away he said that cake isn’t safe for him. It has almonds. I brought the cake back with one of his three EpiPens to try to stress the severity of telling me it was nut free when it wasn’t. She did not seem to understand even what an EpiPen is. Instead of saying to customers “yes” it’s safer to say “I’m not sure”. On my way out with a swapped cake for a Oreo one which my boyfriend mentioned was safe for him from DQ, the girl actually asked me to put the cake I brought back, BACK into the sales fridge! I said, you are the same lady who sold me this cake yesterday. It’s been in my house over 24 hours and has candle holes in it- you CANNOT resell this cake. That’s disturbing that she was going to put it back in the sales fridge!
Luckily this cake was for a 33 year old man, who knew to ask what kind it was before eating- and I did not feed it to a child who wouldn’t have. You can KILL people. Please, educate your employees on the severity of allergens if you are working in an industry that handles nuts.

Ice cream was melted. Both blizzards were different orders and they tasted the exact same.
Such a disappointment.
