A local spot for greasy spoon / diner style food. I came for breakfast with two others on a Saturday morning and had the 3 eggs with sausage. The service was good, and I found the food not as greasy as one might expect at a greasy spoon diner. The food was fine (as expected for a diner breakfast) and nothing spectacular. The home fries could have been smaller in size as I found the size of each chunk to be too much potato (therefore too dry for my liking).
Unfortunately, my partner got food poisoning from the food here. The breakfast (also 3 eggs with sausage) was the only food he had eaten the whole day and later in the same day starting around 5 PM he began to feel nauseous and unwell. Shortly after, he started vomiting (he threw up the breakfast) and had diarrhea that continued overnight. The toxin causing his food poisoning could be due to improper handling or improper cooking or improper temperature control of foods. He was also the only one of our group that used the washroom and he noted that it was pretty dirty. Unfortunately, I will probably never come back here again after this incident as food safety / hygiene don't appear to be a priority at this establishment.

Been here a few times, food is always good, but there is normally only 1 server working. It’s hard to get a refill and the food took over 1hr to get. I suggest having more staff to mitigate these small issues but other than that no complaints.
Delicious food, fast and friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. I would much rather dine here than any of the big chain restaurants in town. The place is locally owned by a wonderful family - a great way to support local!
Will definitely be coming back here for dinner again one of these days! Highly recommend 👍🏼⭐️
