We're fairly new to the area and went there for New Year's Eve. The food was great and we had a great time.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible with the exception of the accessible washroom which doesn't have a access button to open the bathroom door. This unfortunately deems it not accessible even though the rest of the restaurant is accessible and the staff are very accommodating.

Was passing by, saw the nice view and stopped for a meal. View is nice, food is good, staff are friendly, good atmosphere. It’s must be lovely sitting on the patio in summertime! Highly recommend and will be back!

Our most recent visit to "The Beach was on a Wednesday afternoon. The patio was closed as too chilly for dining outdoors even in mid afternoon. We had first encountered "The Beach" by accident a year or so before Covid when we were exploring along the shores of Lake Simcoe. It was a bit outside our normal range and quite new to us. We turned right off the shore road and were surprised to see just what we really needed at that moment, a break from driving and a bit of food. The parking l.ot,, somewhat roughly paved, didn't tell us much about our discovery.. Since then, on numerous visits we have come to know the comfortable booths inside and the patio with its great view of the lake. The real revelation was the food. Always freshly made with well chosen ingredients it is always prepared with care and the .portions are ample without being over the top in quantity. I have not yet eaten my way through the entire menu but everything I have tried showed the same professional care in preparation and respect for the customers. I guess that is why we, are lots of others keep coming back.

My family have walked to this restaurant for 20 years, spectacular view. During the summer, my wife and I twice went to sit on the deck. We twice asked to be sat by the railing, we love the lake view. Twice we were turned down because there was only two of us. The tables at the railing were for for four. There was not only one table open but once three and the other four. My wife and I volunteered to leave the table if it was needed. I approached the owner, the first time, I recall, his response was "next time bring two more people." The second time I approached him out interaction was less polite. I will never go back as long as this person owns the business. I give the service level a four star because the staff, try as they might, want to make their customers welcome despite the owner. When you walk in, look to your left and look at the disdain on the man standing behind the greeter.
