We went to the Corner House Bistro recently for my husband’s birthday. We live in Keswick but this was our first time there. We had heard great things and had always wanted to go! The experience exceeded our expectations!!! Everything we ate was absolutely amazing!! All of the staff, including the owner, were so friendly, served food in a timely manner, were knowledgeable, and all this with a personal touch!! I would go back again in a heartbeat. An absolute gem of a restaurant. After a screwup in the reservation - which was our fault entirely- we were still greeted and seated promptly.
The menu was very extensive for such a small establishment and they have an excellent wine and cocktail list. There’s a fixed price 3-course option which is very reasonable for the quality you get, plus an extensive a la carte menu with many daily options.
